My only opinion about this whole controversy is that i never took anything Rey did as trying to capitalize on, or steal from Eddie's legacy or his career. Everybody associates the two by default... not to mention i'm sure that Rey's mask has made him more money than anything using Eddie's name ever did, and that isn't taking anything against Eddie... its just obvious. Idk what Chavo's issue is, beyond sour grapes... which is unfortunate. I like Chavo a lot... unless hes just working an angle lol

Well i thought that they were long term story telling with mentioning Eddie. Dominic was a part of that storyline when he was a kid. That's where "I'm Your Papi" came from. I thought that entrance at mania was fire. Two dudes from Southern Cali in a low rider coming out to Snoop, then Eddie, and finishing with Rey's theme. Classic. It was perfect for LA. Chavo had to be working because i show my kids old Los Guererros matches and they love watching Eddie and Chavo together. He sure got everyone's attention...

I can't believe how many times Disco tried to interrupt Konnan. WTF

Chavo literally got by on being a Guerrero, he had some decent matches but Eddie and Rey were leagues above him.

Look, I actually watched the interview in which this comment took place. Chavo sounded very sarcastic when he made that remark. He ALSO said in the same interview about Rey “you’ll never be a Guerrero… your son might be… but you’re not” making a reference to the infamous custody feud involving Dominik. Again, all of this in a very sarcastic tone and like he was in heel character. He was actually doing a autograph signing / interview when this was happening and signed a picture of himself and Rey. I believe Chavo! So unless Rey himself comes out and says “yeah I don’t know what Chavo is on, I don’t know why he’s being an ass” than I’ll take it back but until then we all should give Chavo the benefit of the doubt.

LWO is Eddie’s thing, I promise Rey is making money off of it

In 2005 Eddie said he was Doms real father (where the im your papi came from). They had a ladder match for the custody of Dom haha thats what those lines were reference too, the feud was pretty memorable for people watching at the time and was like Eddies 2nd to last feud ircc

This was one of the comments I wanted to be a work, Chavo and Rey are exceptional luchadors and can tell a greater story in the ring here

It seems like a work, and to be honest, Chavo probably does want to go back to the WWE just to be part of dominiks career. He really can elevate dom even more if he can generate a buzz like that. And what is dom gonna do after the rey fued anyway. Rey and dom fued has helped dom tremendously but it's getting to an end. Throwing Chavo in the mix, we would get another great program that will only help dom even more. The guerreros and mysterios are just so good at this. Dom is in good hands.

I think Uncle Chavo joining Judgement Day as a heel manager for Dom-Dom has the potential to be great

Everyone knows who Rey Mysterio Junior is. When it comes to Chavo Guerrero, he’s always been in Eddie’s shadow. Hell WWE allowed Chavo’s father to become a champion and get more airtime then Chavo himself. He got to a point where Chavo had to become a Kerwin White instead of hanging to his roots just to try to stay relevant. Which fell on deaf ears. Rey Mysterio never had to do any of that. Never had to change his character to make a name for himself. Period.

Chavo is just mad he can't profit offa his last name because no one wants to see him at all. Hell, I think Vicky is better known than Chavo.

You guys forget that Chavo is busy in Hollywood. He's no longer interested in focusing on his wrestling career and wants to continue to establish himself in the TV/Movie industry.

My opinion is this: Rey and Dominick had an infamous angle with Eddie Guerrero involving Eddie being Doms real dad. If Chavo is worried about the Guerrero name, worry about Vicky using is while her new husband is assaulting Eddie's daughter

To me it was a work but i like Chavo and his great feud he had with Rey Mysterio especially with i quit match. But truth be told he was more over as " Kerwin White ".

Can't wait for the day when you guys upgrade the audio. Everyone sounds like they're calling in on old landlines and disco talks through his nose on top of that so he's barely understandable

he's annoying as hell. I have to keep turning down my volume, because his voice is much louder than anyone else in the video.

I watched a lot of wrestling when Eddie died and there after. When it happened I had just been kicked out of my moms house and my Dad no problem scooped me up and took full custody. Which was the best thing that could of happened to me. I was 15 and in a weird place and my priorities were screwed up. Also I had stayed at my dad for the whole summer and my mom had married a guy she knew for less than six months was going to have my little brother. Which I’m the oldest out of 5. Thank god cause my dad passed away in 2010. So that 5 1/2 year time period was surreal and felt like some how I ended up in a parallel universe. His death messed me up. So full of life energy and he was on fire and just like that you know he was gone. I knew who Eddie was since I was 4-5 years old. My grandad use to record all the WCW and WWE PPV’s. Him and Chris Benoit, Rey and stunning Steve the Hollywood blondes. Both you guys. Like both companies ten years worth. Hogan going heel. It was a tape traders wet dream back then which I didn’t know better. Went back to 87-88. Sting Ric flair, war games starcade. Wrestlemania 5 to 13. Sorry I’m ranting and this long. Though at times I did feel like they kinda did use Eddie to boost Rey even higher because smackdown in my region was on upn maybe WB on thursdays. So a big Latino audience. I’m just guessing I think they just didn’t want to lose that audience and it was a feel good story. I did feel bad for Chavo. I felt like they could of givin him a bigger more respected push. US, IC title at least. Instead they gave him white guy name died his hair blond and had a golfer gimmick a year later. They tried I guess. That’s when Chris passed away what he was doing. I’m certain. Could be wrong. Me I might be a little pissed off to if that’s my blood. Business is business though.

I just wanted to add to this. I always thought it was cool they did bring Vicki in. Character wise. Love her or hate her. She did a good job and got pretty good at drawling heat man. Lol also Rey did deserve that run with the title. I also wish he would of got to hold the WWE title for more than an hour. He was the champ though. During the summer of punk. Which they screwed that up. Could of hand something between Rey and punk who had a good rivalry. Cena, Del Rio, was just bland. Both solid workers. Been cooler to see Rey punk. For the title.

Can't believe I am going to agree with Disco. Where Chavo has seen how much negativity the Guerrero name is receiving right now. With all the stuff with Vickie and his daughter. That he might be trying to deflect from that. Or maybe which I think could be. That since Rey got recently inducted into the HOF. He probably wants some Mysterio clout. I find it funny how this didn't bother him. When was doing it before he got inducted in the HOF.

The idea itself came from one of Eric Bischoff's friends back in wcw, however the original group was build around Eddie because Konan went to the nWo Wolfpac. So technically, he would be considered one of the founders of the LWO.
