I went to the Kongpo Losar Event in Switzerland. It was very well organised and we had a blast. The invited singers had excellent performances so I wanted to share some of the moments of the concert with you.

Superb 👌 💟 👌 P.T. Namgyal's songs are timeless ! One of my American friends went to Tibet in September-October 2006. She told us that PTN is very popular in Tibet. His songs were played in taxis, buses, cars and trucks.

Hello can someone explain to me what is Kongpo Losar ? We Tibetans have two Losars namely Gyalpo and Sonam Losar. So I am really quite surprised that there is a third Losar. I am sure Konpo is in Tibet so what is this Kongpo Losar? That too in December ? I am so curious to know about this third Losar? I appreciate if someone can explain it to me. Thank you.

I know it’s weird to have Kongo losar,amdo losar..lol in amdo,they celebrate amdo losar on diff month ,I don’t know why..

@@TibetWangmo why is that weird to you ? do you think it’s weird to have their own Tradition Dress amdo, kham, Utsang and different dialect? Do you think it’s weird to have different sects of Buddhism in Tibet ? Tibetan are not just one set of people. after the collapsed of Tibetan empire it took 400 years to unite whole Tibet thanks to the mongol empire no Tibetan ever was about to unite whole Tibet till this day officially in paper. Tibet broke into small kingdoms and preserved their own regional culture. Did you know ganden phodrang government don’t include Amdo and kham region only utsang. y’all got so much learning to do before throwing some dumb question like this 🤦♂️
