At least the future standard of the lower leagues looks more progressive.

Our first goal should have been disallowed because of the Ryan Yatesesque challenge on the Sheffield defender, pushing him over before clambering over him to get to the ball. However, their penalty should not have been given as one Forest player tackled the Sheffield striker who then just ran into another player, so I guess that all evened out.

@@pdc1981 I really don't care if you don't appreciated the comment or not, it is valid, as Yates often fouls in this way. You probably ought to educate yourself on the laws of the game. You can download them and I will provide a link, but here is a copied and pasted list of things which constitute foul play: 1. Direct free kick  A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following offences against an opponent in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force: • charges • jumps at • kicks or attempts to kick • pushes • strikes or attempts to strike (including head-butt) • tackles or challenges • trips or attempts to trip  You might notice the word 'pushes' there, and unless you have problems with your eyesight, you should be able to notice a push by the Forest player.
