Kona Coffee Farm Tour Big Island - Heavenly Hawaiian
Are you looking for not just a Kona coffee farm tour but an entire coffee experience? Check out Heavenly Hawaiian!
A few things that were the most fun:
They have a Paniolo Cabin where they let you roast your own coffee beans on an iron skillet on an open flame a la the cowboys of long ago. So you learn about the Paniolo's as you are literally roasting, pounding, boiling then drinking ”cowboy coffee”.
The cafe has MANY things on the menu that you will find unique and yummy! We had the crushed Matcha Tea drink AND the Geisha Champagne coffee. Interesting flavors you just don't get anywhere else!
I was a bit high on caffeine by the time we left, as they also let us sample their “Geisha Champagne” coffee made from a tree imported from Ethiopia by way of Portugal. It's the trendiest coffee in Kona!
Great view, a staff of young people who do live/work trade in 3 month stints and 40 acres of flowering coffee plants.

I love how the video focuses on families and not just Hawaii or coffee, or sailing. It blends together how the coffee butterfly farm started and how the families son blossomed with purpose. In addition the story of the Hawaiian who turned his life around and how he is teaching his son to follow Hawaiian traditions like sailing is so inspirational. Culture and history are often forgotten in this modern world.
We love the Heavenly Hawaiian coffee farm, the people are awesome and the coffee is AMAZING!! Cant wait to go back the next time we visit the island.
We went to Greenwell Farms in August, was a great time and a pretty good tour!
The Greenwell Farms tour is also great.
Another great video... Now I need a cup of coffee!! You guys rock..
Such an interesting story of a family, and their adventurous spirit, hard work, and faith. Growing something that people love while loving doing it is priceless!
Great video Eric. Very cool place.

Thank you Lance!
When he said "internship" I took that as a huge red flag
