Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Check other videos out!!! this is the REAL DEAL
The 575 komatsu superdozer is both remote controlled and manually operated ,these are the largest production bull dozer in world, can push up to 180 tonne 1200hp, this clip was captured at stocktons Solid Energy Coal mine near westport in new zealand and is owned by Kaipara ltd. Kaipara have the only two in NZ. there are approximately 70 in the world. The purpose of having this remote controlled is to minimise risk of any persons injured or killed if dozer falls into a large mineshafts.

I had a idea years ago that remote controll could be used in shaft mining here in east KY to save lives in a cave in. It would take the same amount of men to run the equiptment. They just wouldn't be underground in harm's way. No jobs lost no lives lost

reclamation operations such as this, sometimes the walls give way under the load of the dozer, taking the dozer and operator along with it. Remotes remove the operator from the hazard.

In response to Terry Rack: In my experience, over 20 years, you don't just simply walk up and grab a remote for these vehicles. It takes a nearly spotless record of 10+ years of operation before you are even CONSIDERED for this type of operation.

+Cadeucius That's a load of crap. I've run D11's from the seat and remotely and it really doesn't take ten years of practice to run one remotely. What I don't get is even why they need to run a remote in the situation shown here. Much more efficient from the seat.

@TheMrBlinx It is on Remote Control because it is ripping and pushing overburden rock above old underground coal tunnels (tunnels from 1890-1940, which were poorly mapped and reported in the historical mine plans). The D575 is being used to remove the risk of human life if it fell into an old tunnel. It is meant to be operated perpendicular to the tunnels as recorded in the historical plans and its size should hopefully prevent it falling into old tunnels.

What a fantasy that would be to wake Xmas or on your Birthday and open the remote control for some kind of large Machine but you would not find out until a week after, how cool would that be? Apart from the 'Automatic Driver-less 597's in Chile I believe, this is indeed the largest and heaviest remote controlled vehicle other than maybe an Aeroplane. What a dream that would be, and for this man, his dream actually came true. I can see why it is used here, but walking in that rock is hard.
