complete garbage. if u have the slightest knowledge of animal body language you would see that they are in terror and obv want to escape. the zoo keeper fucking cleans the ass of the cat as if that would help the cat or anything. they are an attraction for guests and thats it. the comments under this video are ridiculous and show that people watching these videos have 0 clue of animals or how they feel, no discussion needed.

If they are genuinely terrified, they would've made a dash to the exit or severely injured the employee. How do I know? Well, I don't either, I just speculate. No human that walk this planet can tell you how an animal truly feels, not you or me. It's sad to know that people like you still exist, people who think they are so smart and their opinion is so absolute that there is "no discussion needed". Get off it and touch grass for once.

@@Kaxology I agree. The cats don't look scared. That doesn't mean they are getting the best treatment, though. Some animals in subpar or poor environments can cope with them pretty well. For example, I've seen dogs stuck outdoors on chains all day look "fine." The enclosure seems a bit small, sterile, and boring. Hopefully they don't spend much time in there or there is a good reason the enclosure is the way it is. I do my best to not assume the worst of people.

No, it's not heaven for this poor cat, these cats live by them selves away from people like the snow leopard. The cat tried to get back inside when she opened the door to get away from all these people. This is not heaven. They may be the size of house cats, but never had they have a human petting them or play with them. Even so, these cubs are adorable!

@@jimmieparker8093 They are rare and near threatened though, so pretty much the same as being endangered. Saying a creature isn't endangered is basically giving permission for people to kill them, which is what threatens their species to begin with. At one time no animal was endangered, but because of human cruelty amd greed, that changed. We need to realize that killing fellow creatures should never be an option, regardless of how many there are, especially when it's human overpopulation that's destroying the planet. It's super hypocritical to act like it's okay to kill other animals to keep down their population when humans, the most destructive animal on the planet, keep popping out kids and destroying the earth.

​@@englishatheart I think they were just correcting that they are considered Least Concern in the IUCN Red List. They are, however, Near Threatened in Mongolia's red list and Endangered in China's. Of course it's a given that people shouldn't kill these animals. "Saying a creature isn't endangered is basically giving permission for people to kill them" is completely delusional and unwarranted. That is a conservation term given by zoologists and biologists, not a barrier to stop people from killing animals. You can lecture all you want but those who make profit literally don't care about those things lmao. I understand you want to protect them, but you're barking up the wrong tree. You went on a long ass unrelated rant about humans killing everything against someone who just happens to know the internationally correct label. Take your rage and put it into actual activism against poachers

For those saying these cats shouldn’t be taken from the wild, be informed that these Manul kittens are born in captivity in Japan right here in this Animal Kingdom facility. These cats are in “threatened” category and in captivity they can live happy and healthy for the average of 20 years and only up to 10 years in the wild. These cats are wild and not domesticated and not to be kept among regular consumers but only those who are participating in the wild captivity program to increase their population as these are increasingly in decline of its population. Naturally in the wild, they live in high altitude in rocky hills and their fur is this color to blend into the surrounding rocks as they have many predators such as hawks, foxes, wild dogs and of course wolves. Their natural defenses are to avoid encountering these wild predators. They mainly hunt rodents but sometimes small birds depending on where they live. A mother Manul cat hunts up to 25 medium size rodent to feed their kittens in the wild and they serve a great purpose to keep the rodent population in check. Kittens can be born at a time a few to several (4-5) even. They are originally from Central Asia. But these kittens are born in captivity.

@@libbad7419 thanks for the defense!:) Can you believe the nerve of that psycho? Dumb and entitled enough to believe it's "freedom of choice" to be able to take any wild animal and make it a pet. There are many LAWS against it where I come from, you actually will be in violation of the law. Rightly so. Even domesticated dogs are still animals that can maul or even kill a human. That person reminds me of the Tiger crazy person or anyone who violates human safety or animal safety. To believe you can do whatever you want to any animal and violate any law you want is the epitome of arrogance and entitlement. Thanks for standing up for reason and sound judgment! Cheers 👍🏻😊

@@EstellaMadl "Страшно, вырубай". Надеюсь, вы как-то профессионально этим занимаетесь и как-то на этом деньги делаете. Иначе непонятно, зачем держать таких животных дома. Да и даже если профессионально этим заниматься - всё равно опасно. В СССР был случай, когда семья дрессировщиков держала дома львов и тигров. Потом кто-то кого-то съел.

欧米は動物の飼育環境等に関して日本よりよく考えられていますよね…法律とかも 鈴のついた首輪はストレスになるから禁止とかあったような 動画と関係ない話ですが、私も鈴付き首輪は止めてあげてほしいなと切に願っています

Нет, просто молодые еще, котята. Со взрослым манулом фишка с вытиранием жопы не прокатит, даже если он с рождения с людьми. У манулов нет стадного чувства. Комфортно он себя чувствует только в одиночестве.
