Great observation, he ommitted Dr Sikiru Ayinde's name, he further said "Eyin ota olorin" Ayinla Omowura and SAB were seemingly still not on speaking terms when Haji costly died, funny enough, he mentioned Fatai Olowoyo who was a sworn enemy. But I must confess, Kebe Nkwara played good fuji here, the voice is great, I so much love the intro of this song, that it comes to my mind everytime.

@ Okuboro, aside many historical references in this piece (especially the aspect where he enumerated many Fuji artistes of the era and the understandable conspicuous omission of the name of Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister ) this is a raw music with soothing rhythm.

This is another testimony that reaffirms that Alhaji Ayinla Omowura died as a result of the impact of the bottle smashed on his head by Alhaji Bayewunmi, one of his band manager, contrary to speculations that some of his rivals in music were somehow involved...o ma ti noga e pa o, o mati noga e pa Bayewunmi mi o, osika eda o, alainitelorun o, o ma ti noga e pa o.. Rip Haji costly Anigilaje, may u live long Haji Kebe Ni kwara Kollington Ayinla. Thank-you EgbaAlake, you're the best.

He did not mention SAB because some of Ayinla Fans believed SAB was partly responsible. May God forgive us.

Omowura music was something else...Fantastic is understatement and this tribute from Kollington is classic, at times the fuji world does not give this great Fuji musician enough credit. ..Kollington music and voice is angelic ..Iate Ayinde Barrister actually appreciated Kollington contribution to Fuji than some greedy Pretender....

Funny enough, Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister got the message (of Kebe's commission of his name) when he reflected in his own tribute to Omowura, "Baraye loba pa o, onitoun a kuku motor tomotomo, osangangan laa gboku aro, aajin lafon ma nwo, bee aafon laajin ma nwo, onitoun o mo ni ku sibi aso re gbe wa..."

i figure out this Ayinla Omorura man died in 1980, does it then means that as at then there wasn't video camera to record music video? as great a musician that he was then, i'd love to see this man in a video or something, How was Haruna Ishola that was older able to get his music recorded on video still remains a curiousity to me.
