Don't use carrot and cabbage. I never had a Kolkata style egg roll with carrots and cabbages. Those veggies are mainly for the chow mein.

Egg roll is a common street food in all over West Bengal (almost). 'Kolkata-style' is not the right description. I've not seen junk stalls using cabbage in egg-roll yet. And they don't pre-mix the egg. They mix it on hot tawa, over the paratha, with a unique style.

@@ArpanNatureBoy although the more formal word for citizens of kolkata is "Calcaciun" (pronounced as cal-kesh-ian) "Kalkatia" is more of a slang used by to refer to the local non-bengalis who live in Kolkata hereditarily but are not bengalis

@@swiftboo8120 bro maybe not in your area but in the areas I lived and am living are central kolkata and south Kolkata respectively (park circus,bright street and picnic garden) and in all of those areas they make the roll almost like this and the people from my side consume rolls a lot and that's why I know. Edit: I don't know if u are non-bengali but i am non Bengali and and I am talking and i was talking about "Kalkatia" which is used to refer non Bengalis.
