Hello everyone, welcome back to the channel "Bikemybuddy" and It's me your friend Sagar Lama with another vlog on the beautiful waterfall of Koilighugar in the Jharsuguda district of Odisha. The Koilighugar waterfall is 50 kilometers away from Jharsuguda and situated in the Lakhanpur block near the village Kushmelbahal. Koilighugar is one of the religious and tourist spots in Odisha. It is situated between Sundergarh and Jharsuguda District and near Chhatisgarh State. Koilighugar is recognized as one of the important tourist spots, its natural beauty is simply awesome. The sound of water flowing from the springs of the hill with that jungle beauty attracts visitors to this place. That’s why all year-round visitors come to this place. In the Rainy and Winter seasons, Koilighugar looks awesome. The waterfall sound we can hear from a 1km distance. Various springs of Hemgir Forest and the nearest hill flows through Koilighugar and there are waterfalls from 40ft and making this waterfall one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Odisha. Another attraction is the big size fish. Fishing is not allowed here. When tourists put food in the water, fish comes to the surface of the water; this scenery is an eye pleasure. In 1942, Sohan Swami Named Baba comes to this place and he stayed here forever seeing the beauty of this place, later he established an Ashram here. Currently 30-40 Sadhu Baba Living in this ashram. Here in the winter season a lot of people from various parts of Odisha and Chhattisgarh come for a picnic. It is a picturesque beauty spot with its sylvan backdrop.
Inside the fall there is a Shivalingam known as ‘Maheswarnath’. The lingam is submerged in water and not ordinarily visible. If somebody tries to see it from inside the water in winter and summer the lingam is visible under the reflected sunlight, hence for the benefit of the pilgrims another Sivalingam has been created outside the waterfall.
