He reminds me about Scott Cawthon. His first projects were very, VERY underrated and criticized, and when he was at the verge of quitting, he made one of the most popular videogame ever.

I haven't watched the whole video yet, just wanted to say that I HATE when people call artists ''talented''. Because I'm an artist myself, I understand the amount of effort and time, and work it takes to draw something relatively high quality. While I'm sure those people only have the best in mind, it still undermines the years' worth of hours that artists put in in order to get any decent results. 'Talent' in art only makes you pick things up slightly faster, but you can't get anywhere with just that. You need to practice and practice and learn different skills and abilities and how to observe and break down and colour theory etc. etc. If you want to compliment us, you shouldn't say "Wow, you're so talented!", you should say "You must have practiced a lot to get to this level, it looks amazing!"

@@HyperboreanSpaceStoner talent means being naturally good at something, saying someone is talented undermines the work they put in by saying they just have a natural affinity for it. that isnt to say i dont appreciate compliments, and i wouldnt just say ew no if someone says im talented, i just feel theres other better things to say

Barrage was only 2 volumes long, i know because i bought them wanting to know more about where Horikoshi's artstyle and writing style came from. That and i wanted to see how one would fit a full story in only 2 volumes. I recommend it for manga fans on a low budget like me who can't afford all 100+ volumes of One Piece. Since each of the 2 volumes of Barrage are around $10 you're getting a full manga story for only $20 To me the main blue haired kid and tall red haired guy are like a prototype Deku and Aizawa.

I agree with everything except the whole “talented” thing. Some people r untalented, but they’re good at what they do because of their hard work. I personally am untalented, but my art is good because I constantly work hard to improve.
