And what I find is kind of funny is that the characters that come with the turtle ship, whcih is supposed to be the most kid friendly set, actually have the sexiest outfits... And that's why I'm praising enlighten Pirates so much! -Kohdok, 2016

I've been buying a lot of Enlighten sets as of late, like some of their older Pirate stuff (more similar to classic Lego sets), their new Legendary Pirate sets and Castle sets. While I haven't received everything as of now, I've been pleasantly surprised with what I got. The blocks are pretty solid overall, with a few exceptions, but for the price it's excellent. The minifigures sometimes have their arms come off, and some of the old Pirate sets figures have really derpy faces but the Castle figures are fairly decent and the Legendary figures are simply phenomenal and all original if I'm not mistaken. I also got their "Romance of the 3 Kingdoms" minifigure sets and they are fantastic as well. PS: I urge people to get these now because most of these Castle/Pirate sets are listed as "going out of production" on their website!

I keep watching this review and loving it. I especially love the sketch with the robo kraken. I LOVE the way you portrayed the antagonist.

That Shark contingent reminds me of the black freighter section of Watchmen where the pirate guy makes a raft out of sharks to get home. Great video.

Very cool videos, I had to subscribe ! Well, I don't like fakes but using the lego standard to create new sets is great ! However the huge purple pirate ship looks a lot like the Queen Anne's from Lego...

Castle and Pirates are what I'm aways after.

Almost considered getting this, however your review really pushed me to order it! I collect mainly MCU sets, but I'm up to date with all the sets and needed somethin new! Thanks!

+Vanguardmetrics Be ready for a couple of illegal connections on those windowframes. Also, you want four 1x1x3 cylinders for the masts and two 1x1x3 black bricks with recessed side-studs for some of the "teeth" on the bow. I added eight skidplates, too, but those are optional. I'm still tinkering with it, but the spare parts you need so far are all extremely common.

+Vanguardmetrics So far, only the side-stud bricks are replacements; the ones that came in my set had absolutely no clutch. The cylinders reinforce the crows nests and the skidplates are...skidplates.

Seeing how cool Enlighten's sets are makes me wish that LEGO would partner up with them and help them out so that their sets are more structurally sound and you don't have to modify it

Sorry 'cause I'm french and I don't understand every words but it seems that the set is a mix a different bricks: some studs have holes and others have something written ('' ELGO '' or something like that). Am I mistaking ?

+Billy Witton I got mine off of ebay, though the seller recently added a $12 price hike up to $90. It's why my previous video said to stay attentive on prices. You can get the other sets at a steep discount by bidding.

Lego sets are usually priced ~$0.10 per piece. A Lego set this size would be $150. I got it for half that.
