I was there in 1996, when the first running prototype was driven around Scandinavian Raceway in Anderstorp, here in Sweden ( the picture from -96 at 16:18 ). Never in a million years could I, or anybody else sitting on the grand stand for that matter, realise what would become of that unknown sports car going around the track. In 2000, me and my brother were lucky enough to get invited to the Koenigsegg stand at Paris Motorshow, to have a chat with Christian's dad Jesko and have a test sit in the very first CC8S (Why this priviledge? We asked if there were any brochures - in Swedish!). I have followed the brand closely since then and have met with Christan too at one occasion last year. I am really impressed and immensely happy that this crazy, totally "un-Swedish" endeavour has survived and not only that, thrived. I love these videos, keep them coming!

I was at the factory too. When they were starting production of the Agera. It was such a big step up from the CCX. And what they have achieved since then it absolutely incredible. Now the best versions of the Regera have iconic status and go for several million dollars a pop over in the US.

The guys at Koenigsegg are the pinnacle of automotive engineering. I would love to see them have a race team, I think they would dominate in any type of Motorsport (maybe not rally or Moto gp etc).

Wonderful to see that this area of the old air force base is used. I have been there many times in the 80s when the base was active.

Cc850's transmission (m+a) Mauto😅, the factory there's no words can discribed it james 🤯 though mclaren was work of art of there factory, this is just blowen to the moon, thank you james showen this such colossal factory, hats off to Christian for his innovation, and you james for such insight 😎

I was doing construction stuff in hangar3/4 and was the main carpenter team in the renovation of their office building at the 8 minute mark. Feels surreal watching this on youtube!

Congrats James. I did a similar thing in cycling, represented some of the top (titanium) marks for a brief period, and it was a bit blase to me at the time. Bicycles are just not cars, it's a couple powers of magnitude difference. Koenigsegg is the brand I've grown to love most. I'd just not be able to fake my enthusiasm for any other brand that comes to find, Koenigsegg I just can't shut up about.

A big thank you James for taking us on this journey. For me personally it is a great experience to see all this. I don't know if I will ever see it live. But I have been a great admirer of what Christian has done from the beginning and always will be! The Gemera looks amazing with the wings. I would definitely order it with the Ghost package. 🥰

Have you thought about using the video side to make the handovers and koenigsegg London more special by doing a video diary of every customers car journey with the different specing sessions and a video of it on the production line and the handover or pdi before they receive their car
