Koenigsegg has come a long way, wished Martin could review one of their newer models.

@amarjit singh Plenty of times, why do you turn up in EVERY damn comment section that has anything connected to Koenigsegg when you obviously don't give a shit about the brand ? What exactly do you expect private owners to do ? Let journalists take their 2 million dollar car to the ring to drive the crap out of it ? Would YOU do that because i sure as hell wouldn't. Pagani has the Zonda R that is a pure racecar on slicks that worked as a rolling testbed for them internally, some journalists drove that (not at the ring, just one racecar driver did that). Koenigsegg had the CCGT made in just one example and a swedish car mag tested that on track, that car is no longer at the factory but instead resides at one of the investors in norway. I find it amazing how one of the smallest car manufacturers in the world somehow should have the same resources as Mclaren, Ferrari and provide cars for nürburgring when niether Mclaren nor Ferrari has provided the same with their P1 and Laferrari. Not sure what people like you are smoking amarjit but you should put some reality in that pipe and light it up. All you have to do is search for the brand here and you will find plenty of non owners driving them, you won't find a timed test made independantly but you WILL find a comparison made in germany between an Agera R and a Porsche 918 that the Agera actually wins.

This CC8S, chassis #7004, has been missing since 2005. It has last been spotted in Florida. Allegedly it was involved in an accident.

I love this realistic and critical review. I am sure it really helped Koenigsegg alot

This guy has a familiar voice like a motorsport commentator. Keep working at it Martin, you'll get there.

He's great. That's what Britain still does best (although increasingly rarely).... reserved understatement to the extent of being totally unflappable in any and all conditions.

Can anybody comment factually on why the stick is so tall? I used to think the old Lambos had really long shifters, but this thing has them all beat. Is it for more leverage on a stiff gearbox, or maybe so the hand is closer to the wheel?

I think its for ergonomics so that the driver doesn't have to reach down for the shifter.

2:20 'It feels a bit like a DTM or Touring car right where you need it..' I have no clue about where I need my gear shifts to feel like a DTM car..

I like Martin, he’s a professional driver and has plenty of experience of fast cars. His opinions are valuable although his comparisons don’t mean anything to me, on the whole I like what he has to say

Why not wait for a dry track and really test it?

I think Martin had it before Jeremy, and Martins drive/review was probably less scripted.. however, what a great car and it’s good to see that they’re still making some incredible cars! I bet the one in this video is probably worth quite a bit of Wonga theses days! 😉

Why? why would you wish Martin would?, he’s a retired respected F1 driver, doesn’t make him a better road driver.

At the 3:38 minute mark he fumbles to grasp the shifter! Didn't he say, the shifter is right where you need it? I've got a C5 ZO6 and the first thing I did to it was cutting an inch off and kept the original leather knob because in essence it's a t-handle. You merely turn your hand IN to grab the wheel and DOWN to grab the shifter. What could be more convenient?!!?! It was not only a poor design it looks like shit!

It was right where you need it. Having a high shift knob in a high horsepower car is great because it’s less time your hand is off of the wheel, meaning you have more control.

You can’t have a supercar called Koenigsegg! It’s ridiculous. Really.

He has such a monotone voice. I'm bored!!
