1. overall the audition was too theatrical. Lionel is right, that's not something that would sell popular music. 2. she was over singing. her technique was horrendous. I couldn't make out what the lyrics were until Katy said them. 3. she's full of herself, and no record exec is going to want to work with her 4. when you're auditioning for a label (or in this case, a show) you choose a song that shows off your range, not the highest notes you can attempt.

lol this has me weak.

She was so full of herself from the start. In her interview she said she was ridiculously prepared. When she 'sang', she was doing a checklist of what she thought would impress the judges. How long she could hold a note, all of that melisma, how she could hit high notes, etc. Right away she said she's not leaving without a Golden Ticket. Not even 3 yesses, a Golden Ticket. As soon as Katy Perry says it's a no for her, she rudely interrupted her and told the guys to give her the Golden Ticket. Then has the nerve to say that Katy Perry is jealous of her. Sadly I think if she just sang a good song, she might have had a chance to get 3 yesses. She blew it and made a fool of herself in the process.

@@aykisa3496so true basically last year I was with this musical theatre group not all musical theatre students are like that like the one I am with now don’t think so highly about themselves but oh my gosh the one last year they were so full of themselves and attacked people and always judged others just because they were insecure with themselves and because the teacher had favourites they thought they were some next movie starts and everything I won’t lie I have been a show off at times but I have never said or done or tried to think that I was better then everyone were most of the people who said to me I think I have won an Oscar in my head when they literally got so offended when I just said jealous and they snapped and were so offended by just me saying jealous in a joking way and started saying I am jealous but I have a bigger part then you like it was just a musical theatre showcase and then I was like talk to me when your on broadway or on films don’t attack me now lol you are so 100% correct gosh if you were in my class you would see how they gang up on people and then get very jealous and insecure with themselves

You can tell by her face that she genuinely thought she was killing this.

Her voice isn’t bad at all but what she did was basically show up to a funeral in a wedding dress. She wasn’t prepared and if she listened to the judges instead of answering back they might have even gave her another chance to sing a different song. I hope she learns from this experience and try’s again next year with a song that consists of more than just one sentence and tones down a bit.

Couldn’t agree more. As an actor who does both straight drama & musical theatre, it’s not just about being talented; you have to know how to present & market yourself to potential people who will help your career (agents, managers, casting directors, etc.). I’m her case she definitely has talent, but no sense of how to market herself. You can’t try to sell power tools & construction gear to people who work in a high end corporate office.

The difference between a singer and a performer: a singer opens their mouth and notes come out. A performer sings to please an audience. Nobody wants to watch or hear a singer do their vocal technique exercises. If you, as a performer, are just singing to hear what's pleasing to YOU, with no regard for your audience, and you are unable or unwilling to intuitively read your audience.... then you're going to be a sad, disappointed performer like this young lady.

As an admirer of many great Broadway stars, I know she won't make it far on Broadway (if at all). They are not looking for people who are trying to showcase their voice. They are looking for people who want to and can tell a story. There wasn't a story in her song (at least not one you can understand). She is not the next Kristin Chenoweth. Broadway (and theatre in general) needs people who want to collaborate and she seems to be too self-centered to work well with most. Directors will not want to work with her because she'll instantly be labeled as difficult. I'm confused why they think what she sang is an example of why she should go to NYC or that she could be the next Kristin Chenoweth. There would have been a story in Chenoweth's song and they would have felt it. Her voice is not to be compared with Koby's because Kristin has so much more control and doesn't try to show-off in that kind of fashion. Sure, she can make it in community theatres or professional theatres in some states. She just won't make it on Broadway with that attitude.

Koby I have been on tv a few times, once was for having a baby on Thanksgiving Day 🤔. Why are you not off concentrating on building your other social accounts and letting your fans come to you? The piano guy represents exactly how everyone felt while watching this..

I saw her talking nonsense over on Maddie poppe's Instagram and I knew she looked familiar lol. This girl is quite interesting to say the least lol

Your power is undeniable, and I'm sure you're a theatrical talent. You just chose the wrong song, wrong genre and I'm sorry but you were off during the audition. The judges were right, but I wish you all the success in the world and I'm sure your future will be great. I've been singing and playing my whole life. :)

i sang three songs this day! not just the screech. this, "The scientist" by Coldplay and my song "President Fart" which you should come listen to

The sad part is that's how a lot of music schools train their Opera students..She sang like she was on a big stage with no PA system...she also had so much pride that it will stunt her growth in the music business. I could tell that she has great pitch, control and timing as a musician...she has NO CLUE.about what's appropriate in what situational genre.....in other words she would sing Opera at a Yodeling contest....If she would have brought the right style of music and sang it appropriate voice inflection, , attitude, style and dynamics she could have made it through! Ability was there...She had the wrong ideas and attitude! This will make her better or bitter...I hope it helps her....How do I know? My degree is in Opera/Vocal....when I sing pop etc. you can't hear the opera. Judges you were RIGHT!

+ Koby American Idol And still got noes on all three. Either it was the attitude or none of the songs were done well. I know I said this another time that you've commented this but you're still saying it's "not a fair representation," so I feel it's necessary to point that out.

Someone, is keeping the public from viewing her album, maybe because of her President Fart song WHICH SHE SANG FOR KATY AND FRIENDS (that part of her audition was also censored OUT). +Koby American Idol But, not good enough to go through because it was still a no. 3 songs; still a no. Also, if your version of The Scientist by Coldplay is so good, why haven't you put it up on your website or YT channel yet? Don't get me wrong, I saw your Glee audition song (not a fan, but you could sing) and your opera performance. I'm not saying you can't sing. But, all your other stuff you're pushing? It's really not good. That voice effect you're using in all of your videos sounds so bad.

Koby American Idol I just listened to all your songs, including president fart and I'm not sure if it would help. Don't get me wrong you're a really good singer, but I've never met anyone at all who listens to the kind of music you're making unless they're watching a show. It honestly kind of gave me a headache. American idol is a singing competition yes, but they are invested in mainstream entertainment for the masses and as good as your singing might be, your music is definitely not mainstream... Source: University student who might've been part of your demographic

She's accustomed to being told she's a really good singer. She thought she had that in the bag and being told that she's not a good singer for mainstream music was the last thing she was prepared for lol. "The devil never stops coming for you". Lol

If this were legit, and I don't believe it is, this is the WRONG place to put it. That audition was horrible. Her "fame" atm is based on her bad audition. That's not going to send anyone running to buy her album. Also, she's not shadow-banned. I can see all her stuff. Still, congrats on all the false hits to all of her social media. That's a great marketing ploy! "I'm being censored..." If I'm ever feeling really unethical, I'll try that someday.

She said “for every yes, you will get ten no’s”, but at the end when she got a no she got mad and started cursing 😂

My 5 year old heard this from the other room and said “what’s that funny noise???? Why is it still going?” ☕️☕️
