Good comparison video, I bought the Clara HD as my first ebook reader recently and I'm super happy with it so far. I chose it because I wanted epub support, and I liked the idea of overdrive and the screen and the temperature adjustable light is definitely better than the Nia and the nearest priced kindle. For the $162AU I paid for it, I think it's awesome.

AU?? Where'd you buy it? I'm in Australia too, and the Clara is $279 at JB HiFi.

I already have the kindle paperwhite , but as it's Maneet's video I am watching it. Great work, I see this channel getting all the milestones soon.

The nia is currently 60 euros cheaper 80€ vs 140€ where am. Not a 20 difference!!

Unfortunately in India, Kindle is not available now, we only have these 2 options available, if I switch from Amazon kindle to calre 2E, is there any option to move my previous purchased ebooks from kindlyo clare2e?

I got Kobo nia because Clara is about $45 more expensive here and I only need it for reading in my bed,so the extra features of Clara doesn't metter to me.

Nice clean setup to your video making space. I have found your videos very informative when it comes to Kindle/Kobo. Just purchased a Kobo Clara HD and I already have a Kindle Oasis plus have ordered a new Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. As you can tell, I also like to read very much. I am looking forward to having Overdrive support with the Kobo and also support for ePub files. Just a quick question: what is the translation of the phrase you say at the beginning of the video? I am assuming it's some kind of Sikh traditional greeting.

Yes, that is a salutation to Vaheguru, the eternal Teacher. See, Sikhism is all about teachings. It's a glorious religion. They protected Hindus, and still do, and I hope they will continue to do so in future as well. They are mighty warriors of India, but they prefer peace because once they draw their swords out, blood needs to be shed even if it's their own.

You are continously talking about the 20 bucks price difference. I'm afraid in Spain the difference is 50 €, so things change a lot.

Micro USB instead of a USB C is disappointing. Micro USB ports are known to be problematic and break easily. Makes me question the future proofness of the device.

If your intention is to hit the kindle market, go for it, but not something I’m interested. Keep up the hard work veeray.

There are guides online of how to download Amazon books and use Calibre to remove the DRM. Then you can copy them anywhere, including to a Kobo.

Does kobo clara has a translator? I'm spanish but i read in english. Great video and explanation :)

@@Maneetpaul every device I own except for a battery bank are all micro still. I'm just pointlessly attached to it. USB C's only real benefit is obviously it plugs in easier and that newer devices are made to handle quickcharge, but quickcharge dumps on your longterm battery life so it's kind of a negative
