The game misses you young GOAT.

Indeed it does brother :( Will never be the same
Michael was a bit before my time as a kid, but Kobe truly was the player that I grew up watching as I fell in love with the sport of Basketball. This video brings back so many memories. Those Lakers vs Kings days, Kobe & Shaq days, Frobe days...man.

To me kobe as the best highlights in nba history period. He makes the rivals fans go nuts. The 🐐

Nacko Mcqueen Larry Bird also did that, there was a game were he had 50 or 60 and the opposing bench was reacting and hollering even rooting him on.
Rest In Peace Kobe greatest ever to play the game of basketball
2001-2006 Kobe is the greatest player to ever play in my opinion, nobody was feared more than that guy at the time...

Ben Williams Well 03, 06, 07, 08 and 2013 are arguably his best versions of himself. *2002-03* was his all around athletic peak his numbers were all around great, partly because he was asked to do more by Phil because Shaq missed time due to bad conditioning. *2005-06* was the Kobe offensive show, amazing conditioning too as we would see him play stellar defense pretty much every night while trying to have a playmaking quarter, sadly with low results, heroic playoff push. *2006-07* was him visibly having mastered the game, that’s all I can say, skill and muscle memory wise I believe he felt like the perfect vessel, it looked like that. *2007-08* was a great balance of veteran knowledge and explosiveness, we also got to see what he could do with another All Star by his side for 30 games, Finals appearance which unfortunately injuries to the roster, excluding Kobe, would turn into a lose. *2012-13* saw a career resurgence for “Vino/Skinny” Kobe. It’s a memorable season partly because he was showcasing his natural point guard skills, craftsmanship, ridiculous clutch efforts and regained explosiveness, oh it was that heroic playoff push which ended in an achilles tear. We saw a lot of brain power in that season. All these seasons he was super cocky with his ability to take 3s and contested midrange jumpers, seeing him host up 30+ foot threes nonchalantly even with defenders playing him up close accompanied by his multiple shooting hand injuries was astonishing. He took whatever midrange shot there was too, he didn’t care he felt he could drain lightly contested 3s and midrange shots blindfolded lol. He also played though injuries these seasons, Kobe was injury prone by his own admission, we haven’t seen a healthy Kobe since 2000-01 lol. It’s an interesting conversation.

Ben Williams Well, oh you meant at that particular time. I agree Shaq was probably right there if not second due to his incredible physical dominance especially in the 2000 and 2001 seasons. But once Kobe started taking 35 foot pull ups in the 2002-03 season, it was over, he would put your rim protector on a poster, make ridiculous midrange shots, play really good to great D depending on his knees, when he was asked to be showed off his natural point guard skills and now he would take 30+ threes!? That man was a problem, there was no weakness and he would even challenge what we thought was impossible at the time regarding 3 point shooting, scoring outbursts and making highlight plays on a certain 7’6 Great Wall Of China Yao Ming. He was ridiculous.

The GREATEST AND MOST GRACEFUL PLAYER OF ALL TIME!!!
R.I.P. mane 💔💔💔 looked up to u my whole life. You’re the 🐐
The best basketball player of my generation. R.I. P. Kobe.
My favorite NBA player Kobe Bryant it's crazy it's like he's still here as I'm watching this. When I go to sleep all of his highlights reels play over and over in my head. Man I'm just so honored and blessed to watch this man's clutchness and passion, drive, for the game. Man I just wish we all could have seen his daughter do the same exact thing. This shit hurts big time. Lakers 4 life Kobe 4 life Gigi 4 life 💯❤
My favorite player of all time Kobe Bean Bryant oh man the memories will always live on
After Jordan, Kobe was the man! Plus closest to score 💯in modern days. Hats off to Kobe !
Kobe #8 highlights feels like a movie 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
One of the best Kobe mixes i’ve ever seen, major props!
Lebron maybe better in almost every statistical category, but Kobe is ART

Nite Tyme I agree. Sometimes the player who is just a dog and does whatever it takes to win is the better winning player despite what statistics say. It just so happens Kobe was one of the most skilled players of all time along side that.

Lebron has won more awards and has better stats, but i prefer kobes game (01-09) over lebron cuz lebron has to play 5 out with shooters, inconsistent jumper and free throw shooting

@@kalanievans2341 Couldn't have said it better.Westbrook is on his way to a triple double average for the FOURTH time!!!If we went by that Westbrook would be in GOAT conversation easily smh I hate this stat driven culture
This was the GOAT of my era, born in the early 90's.
My favorite Kobe Bryant vid... rip🖤
This was my basketball hero growing up. Saw #8 Kobe play as a rookie when I was 7 years old. Crazy how many generations of fans he has since he played 20 years in the league. The amount of people he’s inspired to do better in their lives. Rest easy Black Mamba; Mamba mentality forever 🐍.
A man who truly loved the game. I am simply amazed when I watch him play. GOAT 🐐 💜💛❤️
One of the best things in my life was watching Kobe. Thank you Max for this beautiful video. Great choice of back ground music
Kobe's athleticism is underrated. He had hops!!
@samuel2pac72
5 жыл бұрын
wetagua It’s never been underrated lol. A bit overrated maybe as he relied more on skill and being a technician in his physical prime than say your Jordans and LeBrons of the world. He had greater body control than them though, thus his acrobatic lay ups, dunks and 360s.
@gottgaame
4 жыл бұрын
Samuel Gonzalez no nba player athleticism is overrated if they are in the dunk contest as a rookie. He dunked on a lot of vets in his first 3 years in the league. U don’t see that in today’s game. Let alone a player going on a baseline dunk over their opponent.
@NickBauersfeld
4 жыл бұрын
Actually by nba standards, his athleticism for being a 6'6 guard was pretty avg. But he literally maximized every bit of it tho.
@NickBauersfeld
4 жыл бұрын
@Willie Prescott III look at his measurables. There are plenty of NBA players with his athletic measurables. But what separated Kobe from all of them is that he knew how to maximize every bit of what he had and went above and beyond to perfect himself at others things.

To everyone that watched this video and remember this era of basketball, from 1999-2014, the Lakers and the Spurs made it to the Finals a combined 13 times out of 16 years winning an astonishing 10 championships between the two franchises. Hats off to who I believe was the best player of that era, Kobe, and the second best player (very close) Tim Duncan. #GOATs
I have never watched anyone plays smoothly with so many beautiful moves as Kobe did. maybe MJ did the same thing, but Kobe will be always the no.1 in my mind.
You are so high.... Kristen introduce your mix !!! Congrats and keep working

Thank you kobe
WOW Kobe Jelly BEan
Rest in Peace kobe!💔👑
Niceeeeeee video~
The "buckle up for Kobe" call by Marv.. that dunk always makes me a little sick, because he dunked so fiercely he actually tore a ligament in his shoulder. It may have been injured already, but that dunk finished the job. Which led to one of his surgeries. But I think he played quite a few more games with the injury. KB was a dawg.
Old school nba players best ever!!!
Still can't believe he's gone.
Rip a legend 🙏🏿
Kobe🖤
Hip hop version of Julius Irwing😂😁👍👍👍 number 2 in word basketball ever☺️
