First of many signature closeout game performances from Kobe in that 2008-2010 run. Denver was desperate to avoid getting swept on their home floor and threw their best punch of the series. Kobe saved his best for last in this one, scoring 14 points in the final five and a half minutes of the game to slam the door shut on the Nuggets and their season. He finished with 31 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks, doing a little bit of everything to lead the Lakers to their first playoff series win in 4 years.

I remember would never go out party nor celebrate when the Lakers were playing any regular season game, playoff game or any finals game.
Would love watching Kobe silence road crowds over and over again.
Kobe was the Nuggets' kryptonite, they couldn't figure how to stop him because of how unpredictable he was! (ex: the fadeaway shot over Martin after picking up his dribble with the shot clock running down 🤐)
