One other thing that can be done is to lubricate the drawer slides. The drawers are often pretty stiff out of the box!

Hello, what are the dimensions inside all of the compartments? I am looking for something small replace the bulky toolbox in my car. Doesn't have a ton of tools, hence the reason for downsizing.

i prefer my lid folding all the way back cause then it serves as a small table top lol

Hello I was wondering how did you attach the latch’s for the lids. I understand the top two screws but how did you get the bottom one screws in did you take the draws out of you did how so? Thank you so much again for this awesome idea

I pre-drilled holes and then drove the screws into the metal. You can't get to the inside walls even if you removed the drawers.
