But it's not exactly true. According to Sonic Chronicles, the Nocturnus Clan is still there, albeit trapped in the Twilight Zone. You bring Shade, another echidna, into Sonics world in the end. His clan is dead, yes, but he really isn't the last echidna. But if she would've dropped one line about Ken Penders, it would've been over immediately.

I dunno about that line, Knuckles has an entire world of animals and people to fight for with some probably as equally compatible to him as anything Undyne is fighting for. Idk if it's the Undertale's fault for grouping all monsters as one species/race but it couldn't find this working well against Knuckles. In addition I don't remember all to well but Knuckles isn't really the very LAST echinda in the series.

That was even acknowledge in another rap battle (Wanda vs Maleficent) which was also an one side battle by the way, but not near as Eleven vs Matilda. I don't even think Knuckles and Undyne was one sided at all, sure Undyne had some very precise lines, but both were pretty much on pair for the most part

@@gatonegro87778 I genuinely think Eleven’s first verse is underrated; it’s better that what I’ve seen most people give it credit for. And after having analyzed every line, I can safely declare that Matilda wouldn’t have won the rap battle with just her first verse (both of Eleven’s verses combined are stronger and edge Matilda’s first by a small amount). And good to see someone else who thought Knuckles vs. Undyne was close, especially considering how I am on the side who thought Knuckles won (and didn’t think Undyne was lacking for the most part).

As someone who likes both equally, I have to give the W to Undyne. She murdered poor Knuckles with bars that would cause him to have a breakdown if anyone told him them. The animation on this one was absolutely amazing and I loved every second of this Looking forward to when saul vs daredevil comes out

Both were brutal, but Undyne just... Got the upper hand on the counters. Also, as a guardian, Undyne may even be a little comic at times, but you only see that side once you befriend her. Until then, she's simply FEARSOME, no matter the route. The line about "abandoning the land he was supposed to protect" really hurt - Also, fact that Knuckles is more remembered as a joke than Undyne, even outside the memes.(...Well, not really because after the first, on every title he appears, Knuckles becomes another meme.)

@@Mixcirr You are all forgetting that when they trade blows, the mechanics from their respective games were shown. Undyne got a hit that bars like... 10% of her HP? While Knuckles lost all his rings. On the last scene, it's implicit that Knuckles would be insta-KO'd at least. So in two fronts, Knuckles loses, considering moral and mechanic-wise. Comparing that to a single line that reflects more about the player controlling the ten-year-old kid and ignoring Undyne's whole arc where she doesn't change, neither does she BUDGE from her spot, UNLESS you're going pacifist, *only then* you can learn more about her and see another side to her personality, not mentioning the WHOLE THING about the Genocide arc where she goes FULL BERSERK and becomes one of the only two bosses you face and that gives you a hard time, only below SANS, you're really being a quite a bit blindfolded there. Extra: Alphys fools Undyne into believing about Anime, yes, but mind you about how much time they spent underground. And this only led her to be even more focused about guarding her spot. And how she also lies to THE PLAYER about everything, until the end of her route. Alphys and Eggman are different in the way Eggman played Knuckles up to steal the only thing he was guarding and succeeded, while Alphys didn't really mean to, but got addicted to a life of lies after the mistake with the Determination experiments, and even SHE repents by the end of her route, either by telling you the truth after you face Mettaton, then if you're going full-Pacifist, the whole act in the True Lab, or by actually TRYING to make Mettaton into a full defender on Genocide Route. The only snag about that is that it's almost useless to try and fight a murderous being with an almost-maxed-out psycho rating.

Undyne's sprites are absolutely amazingly animated. At 1:24 it looks like you just motion tracked a person and rigged them up with the sprite. It's that good. ♥

I know Im late but I saw this whilst rewatching the battle and I’d like to add: This is actually a triple with the next bar, “dropped your duties for the GREEN and you CANT ESCAPE it” In Undertale, Undyne’s battle gives you the Green Soul color, which has a different gameplay mechanic, but it also removes the FLEE option, so you can’t escape the battle, which you can see how it lines up!

I just love this battle ever since I heard it on the album. Cami-Cat just nails her role as Undyne, as she has tried and done Undynes' voice before. While the True Evil Villian played Knuckles just as well. _(It also reminded me of the live action movie version of Knuckles with the voice) All around, it's a good battle, and I cannot wait to see how good the next one is going to be.

Honestly might be my favorite battle of yours so far this year. Toss up between this and Sweeney vs Bateman. The animations pop the Hell off, Patrick continues to impress me with his talent. The lyrics were a good balance of fun jokes and hard hitting jabs. Combined with the stellar voice performances this felt like an actual BATTLE. TEV did a great job, and Cami is destined to be one of the most iconic rap battle performances period. Love it!

I feel like this battle's deciding factor was the ways the characters were written. undyne just felt more like a hero and the fact that she died in battle just hits so much harder since in the end she won, she bought time for her race to hide and survive whereas knuckles survived himself but failed to protect his people and since the battle was focused on the hero architype undyne won. I feel like if knuckles was more layed back or mocked the premise of undertale more it would be closer but in the setting of this battle undyne just wins.

Knuckles was either too young or hasn't even been born at the time Chaos attacked the echidna tribe so it wasn't really his fault that they're all dead and about her fighting for the monsters in the Underground is also something Knuckles does by fighting for his friends and all the other Mobians.

Listening to Undyne YELL these insults at Knuckles is pure bliss and utter perfection. It makes it so fun to rap along with. It's so perfectly in character too. Her battle cry, her personality, even her normal theme. The way these battles are written every single time ASTOUNDS me. Knuckles is much more clever and sharp than you'd expect him to be, too. Thanks to the Flanderization, no doubt.

Mother of GOD this was absolutely BRUTAL. They were at eachother's throats out the gate. Flow wise I wanna give this to Knuckles, burn wise I wanna say Undyne. Overall? I couldn't call it. Bloody hell, well done Freshy and crew. Well fuckin' done.

I love how Undyne kind of switches from 8 bit to 3d in two parts of the battle

Props to both of the rappers for putting so much emotion into their verses! Undyne took the win due to lyrical skill, but everyone's intensity was amazing!

I know when a new rap battle comes out, everytime I see as it amazing and it gets worse overtime, after the hype. But I feel like this one is pretty safe. It's insanely brutal and epic on both sides, the delivery and voice casting is perfect. I love it all the way.

I have nothing to add to what I already said before, this is my favourite rap battle of all time. It is on par with non-ficticious rap battles. SO great, so talented, the lyrics, the voics, the gravitas, the music, gosh darnit Freshy, Evil, Cami, you folks out-did yourselves, I LOVE this

Undoubtedly one of my favourites. Not only because is one of the few recent RB that you made with both characters being ones I'm super familiar with, but also because it was generally amazing; the rhymes, style, background music, the animation (especially Undyne's)... Also, both voice actors were impeccable, but JESUS, Cami-Cat as Undyne had the best line deliveries in any character in a Fictional Rap Battle I've seen, the emotion she puts in every bar is unbelievable and very true to Undyne's character. Now THESE rap battles are what make this channel so outstanding in comparison to other RB content creators.

I think this might be the first time I’ve seen someone win a rap battle with the first lines of their verse alone but goddamn that Angel Island line was just cold as hell.

Bro this one is AMAZING! The bars were absolutely brilliant, and the animation, OOH THE ANIMATION IS GLORIOUS!!! The 3D animation on Knuckles' and pixel animation on Undyne was extremely good, too. How the hell did you guys do this in only two weeks???

Another Hardcore Rap Battle! The Writing, The Animation, The Music, The Voice Actors, everything is so damn good about this one. One of my favorites of all time! Absolutely phenomenal job Musicality, Freshy Kanal, and everyone else involved.

"IM THE ONLY ONE HERE WITH A RACE TO FIGHT FOR" Not just with that line alone but Undyne absolutely spearheaded this battle. No question. And I thought Bakugo vs Inosuke was a onesided battle. Absolutely amazing.

absolute fire! The back and forth gave this battle a lot of gravitas and really helped sell the rappers passion in delivery.

"Understand,Echidna,why I'm fated to win *my* war?!; I'M THE ONLY ONE HERE WITH A RACE LEFT TO FIGHT FOR!!!!" Cue that "Oh no" Knuckles sound effect.

Cami has proven multiple times that she fits the voice of undyne, all the time. And this is just a nail in the cake.

Months have passed and I still come back to this song, and I still feel something crawling my back at 1:08.

I like it a lot when characters go back and forth with their lines. 1:39

That is so well animated. Liked.

This was the most intense track in the album, and I'm so glad that the animation reflects this in spades.

It’s absolutely phenomenal especially with how the art style changes for the characters depending on which universe their in; how Knuckles turns 16-bit when he’s in UNDERTALE’s art style and how Undyne turns 3d and is animated in stop-motion when in Knuckles art style. Just gonna say. I love this battle. Mostly for the structure. Both had there one turn. But then turning it into a true back and forth? Priceless.

this is seriously one of the closest and most brutal battles, i’ve loved it since the audio was released. Hope these two keep showing up!!!

Two Amazing Characters, Two Great Voices, Too Fantastic Sets of Bars... Two Thumbs Up from Me! This Has Gotta be my Favorite one yet! (With Natsuki vs Raven in a close second)

One of the battles I was most excited to see, and it did not disappoint!

Now this was dope. I loved Undyne’s delivery.

Ay, the Cadence of the back and forth sections was absolute fire. This whole production is definitely your best yet.

This battle is AWESOME. It takes two of my favorite characters from two of my favorite games, puts them in one of my favorite song genres, and just goes ALL OUT with the lyrics. Knuckles, in my opinion, had better flow, but for a fish who can't walk in a hot place for more than 20 seconds without needing water, Undyne absolutely ROASTED him. my only critique is the animation, but that's only one thing in this absolute POWERHOUSE of a battle. good luck on whatever you make next (Please be DHMIS vs The Truman show, I loved that battle) also, I would really like to see Garfeild (Comic strips) vs Conker the Squirrel (Rareware) furry orange fourth wall breaking jerks.

can we all just talk about how good the voices uset for each character is done here?

Knuckles’s lines were more clever, but Undyne’s roasts makes this so incredibly one-sided it’s insane

This went so hard, both sides really went all out and the beat was amazing. Knuckles certainly didnt waste his breath but Undyne just came back at him stronger. I love the echidna but the fish won this time. Great work!

Well, WOW Been hoping for a while to see Cami-Cat in one of your rap battles and what a performance!!! Knuckles’ voice was spot on too and I loved how the video artstyle changes according to who’s rapping, even during action scenes. Incredible work, one of my favorites of this year!!!

Can we just appreciate how the Undertale stuff was animated? It just looks so good!

Hopefully we won't get outdated meme references like Winston did with Donkey Kon- *OH WAIT!!!* Like Winston, Undyne manged to "Charge" and "Strike" this victory without "Mercy"! -I swear her and Jasper still should've gotten along back In the mid 2010's era!- Unlike Knuckles he couldn't "Penders" to his fanbase, but doe she still look like he wants any of Undyne's powers *I DON'T THINK SO!!!*

Absolutely in love with the switching of animation styles to fit them both. Fantastic job!
