Knowlton Henge & Church | Aerial Film of Ancient Earthworks in Dorset, UK | Megalithomania
Join us on Patreon: / megalithomania . A drone film to ambient music of the amazing Neolithic henge at Knowlton in Dorset with a nearby tumulus and church that was built in the 12th century but still has large stones in its foundations. Perhaps a stone circle once existed in the earthwork? The way in which it was deliberately sited in the middle of a pagan place of worship demonstrates how those who were charged with converting the local populace to Christianity did so by adapting older pagan sites and assimilating them into their religion. In the area, further earthworks are present but have been built over by a farm.

You're right there Ziggy
I found an interesting energy grid at this site, with alternating pos/neg features , and signature of an underground stream.

Funny that your comment may have made YT to recommend me an 8 y.o. video I haven't seen where Hugh talks about energy grids: kzread.info/dash/bejne/omWZz7ayoLaalbA.htmlm20s

Ahhh the theme tune appeared at the end I love it , great footage from above
Great vid 👍😀
Must have had quite a presence when people used the church in such a setting. Great vid Hugh, don't know about the music but nice to hear the old one at the end..lol..
Pretty cool
the footage makes the place look almost as nice as it is actually being there. nice work.
Nice footage, these earthworks look so clean from above. Not gunna lie, was a little jealous when I found out Hugh had a nephew called Zachary (also my name). He should be MY uncle ^^
A favourite place of ours! The two yew trees are right on the energy line and are probably older than the church.
Absolutely Love Megalithomania! What is the type of drone used for this? 😃
Another triumph!!!
Please bring back the original theme tune , did they build the church using the henge stones ?
A stunning neolithic henge who's beauty isn't marred by a ruined christian church.
Hugh is Olmec

Looks like burrow bridge and that's an 18th century folly. ..they built them everywhere....hey it says you can't fly drones there unless caa registered.....😂
Some commentary would be appreciated.
