The pub aptly named the Black Boy, after King Charles 2nd. Steeped in so much history, would be an idyllic place I would love to live. Maybe in the next life though. 🖖 The Grand Union canal is full of wonderful homes to want to live in. Can I rewind the clock some? Oh I wish... Happy Days everyone. Summer is almost here.

Yet again another stunning video from you folks. But I don't expect anything else your videos have always been a emense pleasure to watch.. I can see that summer has nearly arrived . which is a blessing for narrow boaters... Unfortunately people are unaware of the hardships that narrow boaters endure during the winter months.. all they see is brightly coloured boats slowly moving on the canals. They never see how people are struggling to make ends meet...I was told once many years ago that I must be rich . Because I spent all my time on Holliday .. traveling the canals .??? Perhaps he would have liked to come to work with me..and spend hours on end repairing engines on people's boats .with rain water coming out of his boot laces. And hands so cold that you would not feel it if you hit your hand with a hammer... But of course I was on holiday at the time.. anyway folks keep yourselves safe and well..

Thanks again Wayne for your kind comment. Yes boating in the winter can be very hard work especially when we HAVE to move, at times I can't feel my hands and feet as they get so cold it hurts. The summer months though more than make up for it

I was moored at the black boy inn, bridge 69, one of my favourite numbers 😅
