I remember reading what you just said. God was three so He would be perfect love; having no need for another and being perfectly content within Himself. I see a pinhole of light in the darkness of my understanding.

Think of everyday. Becoming clearer through being tutored as each time with you. It is immense beyond and I will seize every moment in further study. It does make a difference in what I think and feel, surrender is increasing, it did not happen all at once either. Still I cover my face somewhat, don’t comprehend. Knowing Him error, error, error, if He were not the Triune God, He would be dependent on creating us. He humbles me, more humble too, Pastor.♥️ God just increased in my thinking - the one thought or good seed you have firmly planted this moment. I will hold this thought forever. God gives you this knowledge to say to preach and teach. I cannot wait until tomorrow, Pastor Ferguson. ✝️♥️✝️

I think Goduses real life examples we can see & understand - Like a husband, wife & kids = 1 Family (unit) each person is equal with one another but w/ separate functions & responsibilities operating as one family. In the trinity,God is 'head' of the Son but equal. Everything/everyone has an order or heirarchy in some way. I know I could be wrong but that's how I can make genenral sense of it

Is how I came to comprehend our Heavenly Family also. When young I envisioned Someone who somehow kept changing from one to the other. The Scripture that says the things of earth were patterned after those in Heaven caused me to see that this referred to the Tabernacle, etc but also to all that our Lord created. I know it is much deeper and broader than my understanding but can relate with His Family.

@@phyllisstahl9768 Yes . I used to explain it as a type of 'flannelgraph' down here that was used when I very little. What's here is above as something we can identify and make some sense of in a higher realm. When I rescued animals, I saw some of them as us trying to HELP a stray dog but it would run from me - scared etc. How we run from Him too or view Him. I see alot through animals. I still don't grasp the depth of a trinity but it's not a good idea just to dismiss it if it's a little more complex. He created all, He is complex but accessible

"...there is only one God, and this one God exists eternally in a unity of three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each of these persons having a distinct relationship to the other two. And we also believe this is only gradually revealed to us in scripture, but fully revealed to us in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ." Amen.

John Macarthur said that if God was not Triune there would be no love. The Father loves us because he first loved the Son. The Son loves us because he first loved the Father. In Islam Allah knows nothing of love.

Thank you for this video and this teaching. Why do I need to know of the Triune nature of God? Why is this doctrine essential to us? “…which doctrine of the Trinity is the foundation of all our communion with God, and comfortable dependence upon Him.” 2LBCF 2.3.
