That starter instrument is busted, and Songstress is bar none the unit that needs the least stats to contribute. Take a pumpkin, strip it naked, use the starter mp dance 3x and sit in the corner somewhere as the entire party now has a 1 free finisher over all the enemies. If you were spamming shaman like artillery, songstress is what makes it work. If you were spamming ailments like charm bow songstress makes it SILLY. They also trivialize the final boss since they turn the starting positions into an advantage, making them frail is a bonus, and the enemy AI doesn't know what the hell to do with songstress abilities.

Got her and as soon as i got Rabana's tanbour the other two healers barely have to do anything, the regen is soo good, by the time it times out the battle is won and putting stop on a key target even for a bit is quite handy. Should be noted the spellcraft buff will overwrite strenghten if a unit has both, so keep the mellee a bit away or wait with strenghten buff. Poised arabasque also regens the casters mp so the cost is kinda 30ish

Poised is just such a good combo with the coverage combo due to free casts for that reason. Buff, buff, straight into tornado time.

HUH????? People have considered the songstresses BAD?!?!?!? HOW DO THEY PLAY THE GAME???? Every time I get a new class, skill or weapon, I instantly use it to test it. When I got Iuria, I'll admit it took me a _little_ bit to figure out how to play with her, but the moment it *clicked*, I realised songstress is one of THE BEST classes in the game, bar none. I can't even tell you how many times she single-handedly fixed any mistakes I made or even polished the edge I got in multiple maps. There is NO WAY I would prefer any other class for support over songstress, and I say this after being pleasantly surprised by how good the Warden is as support (which, Warden + Songstress is an INSANE combo). It puzzles me that, somehow, one of the strongest classes in the game gets tossed to the sidewalk like that... P.s.: The music in the background is BANGING, btw.

Same soon as i got the insturment that puts regen on everybody, the other 2 healers barely have to do anything, heck one goes dps (princes catiua) and the other puts haste on everyone and by the time regen times out the battle is basically won.

Tier list videos had a few folks insisting they were overrated, I see comments every not and then with folks saying they're weak..clearly there's a crack epidemic in the comments 🤣

Looks to be a pretty good Stinky Set user! I tend to throw mine on Dark Priest Catiua but I'll give this a whirl.

Lowkey, the new classes you get from CODA are just disappointing I just wish there was a *Haste Dance* that either grants everyone in the area Quickened or reduce RT aka controllable velocity shift but that would probably be too OP...or perhaps a dance that *apply random status effects on a target(s)* for the memes.

You're in luck, because One Vision's revamp of the White Knight class can do exactly that! Their version of “velocity shift” advances RT by the amount of TP (a second gauge in the PSP version which was dedicated to action skills, special moves and finishing moves) used as well as heal, with a requirement of at least 50 TP, in an area around them. Gotta say, they come in clutch after taking any attack turn with them!

They're fine for what they are. You're mostly getting them for the characters, though Songstress gets the most traditionally powerful finishers for the most part, as well as the best healing ability in the game.

@CoffeePotato Songstress with a beastmaster and dragons/griffins is a dangerous combo The HP regen ensures the beasts get topped up very quickly
