Went to Big Fire during HHN23. Wasnt THAT impressed. Enjoyed NBC sports So much better

Vivo, much nicer atmosphere, great staff, and excellent food.

We were just there last week and my hubby and I had an incredible time. Service was excellent, food was great, and we were seated right next to the kitchen. So cool to watch them cook. The grill/smoke flavor was wonderful. Hubby loved his bison. It’s a pricey meal but a wonderful treat yourself option. Also, so nice to get something a little more adult yet laid back.

Funny you mentioned the time to get the food. We ate there last week. Had an app, entree and dessert. 6:30pm res. Fairly crowded, they sat us at 6:20pm and we were done by 6:50pm. Really rushed. The entree came before the app was done and the dessert came out almost immediately after we ordered it. The app was Bourbon Cheese Fondue which was very good. I was disappointed with my entree which was the BBQ Shrimp. The shrimp was small and overcooked and the sauce was ehhh. The dessert was fun. Table side Smores. I would give Bigfire another go as they have a lot of entrees I'd like to try.

Thanks for your review! We'll be travelling international to Orlando in January 2025 and staying on-site at both Disney and Universal. Several channels have been helpful for us, but yours is definately the best - such a fun presenter, and everything is very informative. Totally hanging out for your vids now!

1:50 We were so excited when this opened. And like you, we still have not been there. When we go to USO, we try to get there as early as we can. And we're usually leaving as the crowds start really pouring in. Anywhere from 11:00 - 1:00 we're gone.

The menu options at Bigfire look pretty amazing!

They are! A lot of good options - especially dessert!

My tips would always be to go earlier rather than later and to go for drinks and apps(bread board is yummy and filling while waiting)because it will be a wait just like you said!! The food was amazing and worth it for us but you are getting a vegan from walking and heat/AC depending on the weather… and I feel like that break and the theme park local is part of the price of course. The Smokey taste is STRONG no doubt!! I personally grew up with that and loved it. I recommend this place more for steaks and salmon lovers if Smokey what they want BUT if the Smokey flavor profile is something someone rather skip try one of the other dishes that would hypothetical cook faster and which should mean they spend less time exposed to the hearth than for any other menu items. Also to anyone who goes GET a dessert option!!!! Don’t skip it!! In my opinion this is way better than Toothsome’s!!

This is my favorite restaurant out there. Great ribeye and filet. We were there last week and did the Back to the Future escape room experience. You move through a bunch of rooms solving puzzles. This was our first escape room experience and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed the desserts and appetizers here but could pass on the mains. We only got the bison burger for the mains though. Loved the cheese fondue with pulled pork and the kids loved the s’mores experience. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We probably won’t go back unless we just do appetizers and desserts.

Hey Krystal, the Lone Palm restaurant also serves the Margaritaville menu!

I ate there for the first time during HHN32, waited quite a while, and the food took a long time for me too. I had the 14oz Ribeye and it was delicious, but they are very proud of their fare - it's expensive even for UO. Lone Palm's Joe is a hoot, and sitting under Jimmy Buffett's iconic Hemisphere Dancer is the best! The bar across from Bigfire makes a great bloody mary (don't ask me how I know). Mostly I spend time at Lone Palm with Joe though - always a great time.

We’ve eaten there twice and had a great experience. Food was delicious and servers efficient. We will go again for sure. Also highly recommend Great Movie Escape- worth the added $

We have only been once and no need to go back. It's too smokey for us!! The bread we had was completely burnt. So yea it was a one and done for us. Glad you finally tried it though!!!

Isn’t that Jimmy Buffet’s plane, outside of Margaritaville ? You should not have to wait for a long time for food. That angus burger with wedges…so good ! Not a big fan of vegan food. That fiery desert food presentation is fun! Thank you K!

Miss the old Emeril's there, it was our go to place and BigFire is a poor replacement in my opinion.

We have given this place 3 chances and every time the food took over an hour (almost 2 hrs one time😳). The food was mid at best and 2 of the times it really wasn’t good at all. This place is expensive and not worth a 4th chance imo. Now VIVO, that’s the place to eat. Never had a bad meal and we’ve been there at least a dozen plus times. Big Fire should be called Big Letdown.

It really wasn't bad at all! Just good to know and be prepared about that smoke flavor. The Baked Alaska is a highlight for sure

I’m just gonna say it - You look incredibly beautiful! I’m from Denmark and have visited Universal Orlando twice, and we wanna visit a 3’rd time too, doing things bigger and better than ever 🥳 Definitely wanna stay at Portofino Bay, and DEFINITELY wanna eat at BigFire Grill! (We couldn’t last time, cause it was booked) A reservation is a must 👍 I love Universal Studios Orlando so much! 🫶 Thanks for your vid’s and great tours 💪

If I got that burger and wedges I’d hand it back - both looked burnt and the it looked like you could’ve bounced that bun off the ground

That shows poor management. Forty minute wait is completely unacceptable.

If you order things well done, it probably does look raw to you, but that steak is medium. It's about inner temp as well as color, but mostly temp.

Wow.. That food look terrible . I'll be giving it a wide berth.

I'm truly amazed at how some people are so excited by mediocrity when it comes to food, over priced, under-delivered and totally underwhelmed by 2 experiences there, save your time and hard earned and head offsite for a decent feed.

thanks for the review... I dont think its worth the hype. IMO.

I’m shocked at the quality of product they get away with serving. They do not know how to cook steak. They know how to ruin it. Save your money and go to Green Eggs and Ham.

Wow. That looks really disappointing. What a rip off.

We ate there last week. Never again! The food was average, and warm rather than hot. The waitress was miserable, the portions were small compared to everywhere else, and the wedges were so salty they were almost inedible. We definitely don't recommend this place!
