I visited the park back in August and I rode the Pioneer Train. Like most of the rides in the park, it is an irreplaceable antique. It was built the Allen Herschel Company (apologies if I spelled that wrong!) and like most miniature train rides it is powered by gasoline.

You did a fantastic job of showing the world how much fun you can have at a older park. We in Pennsylvania have known for years that between Hershey and kneobles that we don't have to travel to Florida for fun. Just your excitement on the rides made this video fun to watch. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT VLOGGER.

I go here all the time because my grandparents live near it. It’s the best theme park ever. Free parking, and free entrance. The tickets you can get at their local supermarkets. Everyone knows everyone. Love knobles🫶🫶

We had our family day there today we love going to Knoebels. Every summer we do a trip to Knoebels or Hershey Park or Dorney Park. Today was my 1st time on Flying Turns I thought the same as you that it was gonna flip lol. Great job showing my all time favorite park.

Grew up nearby and have been going since childhood. It's probably the #1 choice for company businesses witin a 40-50 mile radius for their annual picnic company picnics.

I loved watching this video. My family and I have been going to Knoebels for many many years and it truly lives up to it's reputation. A park with an atmosphere like no other, it's literally impossible to have a bad day at Knoebels. Great video, and I'm glad you loved the park :)

Did you know the ride has been open at the park for 38 years? Today is June 15, 2023. It opened at Knoebels on June 15, 1985. Just wanted to tell an interesting fact!😁 Edit: Love the video! I'm going soon. Edit x2: I'm going to make sure I get on Pheonix! 👍👍🎢🎢

What a treasure. I grew up in PA and there was Hershey, Willa Grove but never heard of this park. Appreciate the video. I live a few minutes away from Universal and I coulda just stayed in PA...LOL! Now I must ride that trackless coaster. Have you been to Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio? They have wooden coasters that would give the Phoenix a run for it's money!

@@TheKrystalPalace Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, has a total of 18 roller coasters. Plenty of wooden and steel. It is roller coaster heaven.

Great video. Knoebels is about 1 hour 20 minute drive from my hometown so I grew up going there. It really is a spectacular park and they have so many things you never see at any other park. So many unique rides, great food, and its just such a nice park. I also make a point to visit at least once a year. Glad you had a good time!

My first day at the park was Friday night. The original plan was to hit up a terrible ride Hellcat at Clementon it’s still being retracted so I detoured 3 hours to get there at 7:20pm just to hop on The Phoenix then come the next day …. Which is essentially the opposite of Hellcat. I will be going every year now. Stayed in Dansville the whole place is like a time capsule. I was blown away.

7:51 That appears to be a J.G Brill Company trolley car. They used to be commonly used throughout cities in America.

Phoenix is also the best wooden coaster of 2023!

Great video. I am going to knobels today. I am lucky enough to live 2 hrs from the park as well as six flags NJ, Hershey park, and i live in Allentown so 5 mins from Dorney Park.

Never heard of this place but looks so cool and probably one of the cheapest parks for food and drinks wow!!! Great video

I was born and raised around Knoebel's Amusement Resort. It will always be a precious summer memory of mine! Next time, I highly recommend you try the funnel cakes and reserve a cabin for the weekend!

FYI, Knoebels refers to their antique car ride as "Gasoline Alley". I personally like the fact that each of the cars can fit 4 riders including the driver.

Funny that you did Knoebel’s as I was just thinking about going there! I’m only about 2 hours from there but never been! It’s about time I rectify that!

We're headed to Knoebels this weekend. We heard about it here for the first time, can't wait to see it in person.

good food and rides right I have bin they for 4 years

I literally have NO idea how I missed this video! 😱 I think I was lost in edit land when it dropped and just blacked out everything that hit KZread in that 72-hour window lol In any case, the vlog is fire, as always! 🔥 Your reaction to Flying Turns was just about in line with everyone else’s first ride on the weirdest, wildest wooden coaster in the US lol and the Knoebel’s Haunted Mansion is a true gem! Twister is my current favorite wooden coaster, and still pretty smooth for how old it is. There’s never quite enough time to see and experience everything that the park has to offer in one day, _especially_ if you stand in the slow-moving line for the motorboats…but you gotta do the boats at least once, for the novelty of it all 😂 Skull Float was one of the commemorative snacks that we missed during our 2023 visit - sounds like we’ve done ourselves dirty! Gotta circle back for that one sometime later this year 😜 Thanks for sharing, Krystal! Glad you had a great day!

This was cool. Cedar Point used to have a trackless coaster, but not as exciting and they made it a in the dark coaster for its final years. Looks like a fun place, never bothered going there, but thank you for sharing, it was awesome. HHN needs the mug...

What An Amazing And Awesome Park. I Live In California, And When I Can I Go To Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk It’s Also Free Entry Their Biggest Attraction Is The Giant Dipper And The Giant Dipper Is A National Historic Monument

After watching your video we are now planning a trip next year. We are in NH. We will rent one of their cabins. How many days do you think could be spent in the park? We think we'll stay there and then drive up to Hershey for more days. love your videos.

We were just like you before our first visit. Had alot of people tell us we had to go and we were like um ok? We went and loved it!! Only had 1 visit so far in 2019 but plan to get back there in July again. Totally looking forward to it!! Glad you had fun. Btw...i didnt know about those boats, now we got to try them!

Enjoyed your video. Only started watching you recently. Don’t know if you’ve ever been to Dorney park and Wildwater Kingdom in the Allentown, Pa. area. That’s like the last of the eastern and central Pa trifecta. Great old time rides with new ones mixed in. I’m sure you would love this park also. It’s not free like Knoebels but it’s a great time.

Knoebels is own for there food During an interview The family said they only want to serve food that they would be OK with their own kids eating

I go ever summer for a family reunion We stay four nights in a double size cabin. Next time you go, you have to try an apple cider slushy

The original name, for the Phoenix was the rocket. It belong to another amusement park that was run by a family, but when they went out of business, knoebels bought it from them, took it apart brought it to their property and reassembled it

The flying turns almost never runs Your lucky it was working for you since I was in 3rd grade and till now in 2023 me being 20 years old I’ve been on flying turns once because I was only working once

Knoebels Gets flooded bad If you go into the pool they have a board from 2011 I think With the pictures of how bad the park got. Since running water flows though the park they flood fast during bad rain storms It’s sad really

They always manage to safely recover. They dismantle the rides when severe weather alerts are issued.
