1:45 it would have been nice if the person on the other side of the creek weren't standing in the middle of the road and got out of the way. Had the guy been able to keep momentum, he might have made it.

two thoughts for everyone out there before they try to road rage on biker. 1. helmets make it a bad idea to punch them in the head. 2. they often wear reinforced gloves. might even have metal plates over their knuckles. not gloves you want you coming upside your head.

True and if you see the original clip, the biker is first adjusting his camera to get a good video. If I was fuming and had had a near death hit and run I would charge straight away, not prepare the video angle and remove gloves etc. There's more than what is being displayed.

It'd have been better if that person across the creek wasn't blocking the road and moved. If they'd kept going, they could've made it.

Half of the riders could have easily avoided the majority of those near miss lane changes by matching the flow of traffic and not seemingly doing 20km/h over the speed limit. Ive been in quite a lot of slide outs and near misses on bikes myself and I would say 60% of my traffic near misses are due to me doing the speed limit, whilst the rest of the traffic is under the speed limit. About 40% are actual dikhds on the road, either speeding themselves, being distracted or driving overly aggressively.

Is this video to make out all bike riders are angels, news flash, they aren't, and in my country and state it is illegal to straddle( or as some of you call it lane splitting) next to heavy vehicles

7:32 @Maxi Made in California bikers are allowed to split lanes but they cannot use the shoulder, straddle the carpool lane lines or cross over double solids.

One of the best feelings is riding down a freeway, passing a slower pack of traffic and having a young boy in the back of a mini van give you a thumbs up as you go by. This JUST happened to me riding through heavy LA traffic, so I slowed down and gave him the respect he deserved. The little boy was yelling at everyone in the car with a smile from ear to ear. It made BOTH of our days. Note: I DID check traffic to make sure that it was clear and safe to do this, I did NOT slow anyone down or endanger anyone while doing this.

Love how bikers don't take off the helmets like they are afraid of getting hit. Most of these tough guys would never do this without the helmet on. But what these guys don't understand is one good Crack over the head with a baseball bat and it would split the helmet. Plus if you take out a knee or ankle they won't be riding again for awhile. Most bikers I come across think they are intitled little pricks. And I'm a biker.

I Strongly Disagree, if done safely, shouldn’t have be a problem, I’m from the UK so it’s legal, but you’re more in danger in a queue in between cars than front of a queue where you can get away quickly.
