Make sure you run across Cold Chisel then. Barnesy never sang better than he did in those years and Swingshift remains one of the greatest live albums I've ever heard.

Check the song Ocean Deep from the same concert. It’s a memorial concert and the song was written to express his feelings as the cancer was taking him at 25 years of age. RIP Andrew Durant

My favourites are the first chisel album and circus animals

I honestly believe that Jimmy Barnes is the best male vocalist in the world . And I live in the States. This song is so emotional for me and always has been but now I have reasons for listening to this song and it makes me feel so much better . Every time I listen to this song it gets better. Best version of this song I've ever heard or seen.

This is from a memorial concert for Andrew Durant. Check out the song OCEAN DEEP. He wrote that to express how he felt as the cancer was taking him. I think he was 25 years old when he passed away

Not many can hold Jimmy's powerful vocals, but Renee Geyer absolutely floored it!

I've only really started to realize in the last couple of years how great a singer Ian Moss is.

The first time I saw this great version was the same day she died .RIP.

I found it weird today, talking to a mate who didn't know my mum had passed 18 months ago. He cried, I cried.

Really loved that last verse with Barnsey and Renee Geyer - their voices sounded great together

The best version of this song I've ever heard. Usually an ensemble of rock musicians screws up badly. This is pure magic. Thanks Budrock1 for sticking this up.

R.I.P Renee, this video will forever show your beautiful voice. Not many can hold their own doing a duet with Barnsey but you smashed it!

Barnsey and Renee Geyer are fantastic together. Have loved them both, along with Ian Moss for most of my life true examples of Aussie legends

Renee absolutely nails the high harmonies. I mean, really nails them. Pity we don't see that much of her during the gig... I never really got into her, but I can see now how powerful and melodic her voice was. A total class act - by all.

Best version ever, especially with Jimmy Barnes.

Unbelievable after 40byrs of listening it still brings a chill down me. Cold Chisel is one of Australia's greatest band.

Jimmy and Renee. A vocal marriage made in heaven. I think even jimmy was surprised at his power on that night. God Bless Andy Durant.

Born in the ‘80s I remember listening to this song riding around in the back seat of Mum and dads Holden. Still to this day one of the best versions of this song ever recorded. Cold chisel lives on in my heart for ever🇦🇺

reminds me of my years living in Oz back in the 1980's ... memories of sitting on the beach drinking rocket fuels spending all night breaking all the rules... the best version of this song ever recorded, especially Jimmy Belting out his verse... awesome

OMG I was 15 when this happened and my girlfriends and I stayed up to watch this on TV (it was in Melbourne and we were in Sydney) and we cried all the way through it. Andy Durant is missed

i really admire the work jimmy barnes does with the mentally ill as i have a mental illness myself, i think its great how he inspires them to sing and use their voice, a lot of musicians are like that they absolutley love people who have mental illnesses and love to see them inspired by music, wonderfull bloke

A few days later they played in Brisbane and blew us away with that. They opened with Twist and Shout. The emotion in the room was almost overwhelming.

I think more credit needs to be given to the rest of the artists in this song. Its not just Jimmy. Renee Geyer, Ian Moss and several other famous artist on that stage.
