Knockhill 21/10/07 - XR2 Race 1 (and Crash)

My first XR2 race and also first time driving the car in the wet. Unfortunately the car was on "dry" settings. :(
Thought I'd damaged the radiator from first lap collision which is why I slow down - steam was coming from under the bonnet - but water temperatures seemed ok so I decided to continue.
Seven laps later and the radiator is definitely "damaged".
Was a bit all over the place regards cornering gears - my third gear is a bit "in betweeny!". :)

nice video, really enjoyed it. I love the overtake on lap 2, about 4 cars in one :p
I remember that. I was marshalling that day, we all heard a fairly loud 'bump' and by the time we looked around and you were gone lol.
They are a lot of fun - though they can be a tail happy in the wet!

@stromce HAH awsome, I missed the racing i was in spain :( totally up for the next race though, i have alot of videos of it on my page but most are just the F1 car and classic sport & saloons etc Hope to you see you up their
Don't suppose you found my bumper and "ICRacing" number plate? I swear they were attached to the car when I started the race! :)

Nah, I wasn't at the corner you had your bump at. Someone else would have picked it up no doubt :)

@stromce HAH legend well yea he should of looked before doing that, i missed te racing this weekend at knockhill :( i was on holiday in tenerife but id rather be their haha
