About Knock at the Cabin:
Knock at the Cabin is a 2023 American apocalyptic psychological horror film written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who wrote the screenplay from an initial draft by Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman. It is based on the 2018 novel The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul G. Tremblay, the first adaptation of one of his works. The film stars Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn, and Rupert Grint. In the film, a family of three, a man, his husband and their adopted Asian daughter vacationing at a remote cabin are suddenly held hostage by four strangers, who demand they sacrifice one of their own to avert the apocalypse.
Knock at the Cabin premiered in New York City at the Rose Hall on January 30, 2023, and was theatrically released in the United States on February 3, 2023, by Universal Pictures. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and has grossed over $41 million worldwide.

So glad to here you loved knock at the cabin ! I totally agree with the characters how human and realistic they were . One of my fave lines is definitely when one of the dads said : “I won’t save a world that has turned on us” Many of us think this way LOL

Yeah I did! I’m curious about the unrated cut. Overall it’s very similar to the Child’s Play remake but just worse and more bland. Check it out tho. It’s a pretty decent watch

a shocking twist would have been it was all fake news with some underlying plot, not this miracle on 34th street oh wow he's the real santa who gave them a house THEY gotta pay for dribble. there still could've been life lessons about LGBTQ and love, but not in the form of a disgusting deity having violence that'd make a PURGE look like sesame street happen, i mean WTF, and to be clear, i am in support of LGBTQ completely, i know i keep saying that but i do not want any misunderstandings. i loved the characters,relationships and all that BUT it needed a different plot, not a dark ages god drowns his kids , just nope.
