Love your alterations and the color❤
The shortrows create more length in the back and make the collar go upwards in the back. Love the collor and the sweater. Would like one just like that. I own many years old boots in that colour.
Your sweater turned out beautiful and the color looks great on you. Thanks for sharing your feedback on this pattern - I've had this in my queue and you made a few points that will be helpful should I knit this pattern. I noticed some drop shoulder patterns like Sweater no 23 and Stockholm sweater add short rows after picking up shoulder stitches. I'll probably do the same as well as make adjustments to lower the neckline.
