Your knits are always so beautiful!! The dress turned out awesome and looks great on you. I could picture it with like a long sleeve body suit or something underneath to make it fun for fall? but at the end of the day what matters most is that our knits make us happy to wear them so if you decide to frog it there’s nothing wrong with that decision!! Looking forward to your next video!

Aw thank you so much! Oh layering the dress couldn't be a great option, I should try that! And it's so true - I am glad that at least it's possible to reclaim yarn from a knit - which is not the case for many other types of crafts where the materials are not super recyclable!

@@tangerineknits I was going to say something similar to what Alice said above. I hope you try styling the dress in a few different ways to see if you like wearing it more as it looks fabulous on you! I also wondered if it would be possible to change the thin straps for something more tank-style which would change the style a bit and maybe make it more what you expected and versatile. The Barbro top is a standout but everything your make is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

@@addiekl Aw thank you so much! Yessss I think a tank style would be awesome! I'll definitely think about how I can adapt the straps. :)

Never clicked on a video so fast ! So glad to see all your summer projects !! Loving the cami no 9 and barbroe top (added to my summer 2024 list !!). Crazy how different the cardamom colour looks on both of us !! And sorry to hear about your "flops" although very interesting to hear your honest reflections on them. It's not a nice feeling spending so much time on something we feel meh about, but it makes us appreciate the wins a lot more I think!

Thanks Vanissia! I add so many garments to my list based on your videos so I'm honored to return the favor. And it's true! Not the best feeling to have a flop, but the beauty is that the yarn can at least always be reclaimed!

Good morning, Enjoyed watching all your summer knit endeavors, LOVED the wave stitch camisole! Also loved your Noro camisole, especially the colors of the yarn! I have a wip cardigan sweater in Noro lavenders colors (Silver Thaw) which I'm still crazy about to this day as they don't make it anymore. I'm going to finish it up this winter. Your vlog reminded me of it too thank you! I also started a pair of socks with a wave pattern called 'By the Shore Socks' by Nancy Wheeler which I think I got off Ravelry. This is my 5th pair of socks I've made and the 1st with a pattern other than plain vanilla socks that I have done so far. I know how to crochet, but I don't enjoy crocheting. I find it too bulky as you spoke about and I'd much rather buy great quality yarn to knit with because I don't need as much. I also find that I enjoy looking at knitted stitches much more than looking at crochet stitches. But I enjoyed seeing what you were up to with regards to the crochet cover up you made for your partner. It did look beachy. I can't wait to see what you are going to knit for the fall/winter season. Hope you share that on your next episode! Happy knitting, Carrie from the Northern San Francisco Bay Area

Thank you so much! Ooh that sounds like a lovely colorway, sounds like it would be a lovely piece to finish up!! I just looked up the Bayshore socks - they wavy stitches look so fun! Totally agreed you regarding crocheting - I think it's nice for something like a blanket, but for garments, I also definitely enjoy the look of knitted stitches more. One of the reason I decided to take the plunge to learn to knit instead of just crocheting is precisely that I can use less yarn haha! Thank you for watching and happy knitting!

Nice to see a video from you with all those beautiful pieces!💕 We had quite a cold month of August so I decided to postpone my camisole no 9 and start on something woolley (for the no 9 I had cottonmerino in stash, originally for something else, but this is the one for me - nice to see you wear it and let us know your experience), but this week we are having 30 degrees again (it must be like 90 in Fahrenheit) and I am still doing miles of twisted rib on my top in bfl😅.

Thank you! 💕 Cotton merino sounds like a good option!! Haha, that's awesome - you'll have something woolly ready to go when the weather cools down again! We're also having a heat wave this week (~36 celsius), so thank goodness for air conditioning!
