Knitting Help - Slow-Motion Casting On to DPNs

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

With the Knitted Knockers tutorial coming out next week, I want to release this slo-mo video to cover the trickiest part of the project.
If you'd like to get ready for the Knitted Knockers tutorial, here is more info.
The free pattern we're using: www.knittedknockers.org/wp-co...
List of approved yarns: www.knittedknockers.org/wp-co...
You can use magic loop or flexible double-points for Knitted Knockers, but I'll be demonstrating on DPNs.
The needles I'm using are Knitter's Pride Ginger double-pointed needles.
The yarn is Paintbox Yarns Chunky.
The scarf on the mannequin is Bay's Edge (not my design). Here is my Ravelry project page with details on the yarn, etc: www.ravelry.com/projects/very...

I am from the future. Thank you for this video! Very clear to understand. You are in fact the gold standard on knitting videos in my opinion as well.

Your slow-motion videos with normal speed voice-overs are wonderful for visual learners like me. Thank you!

Staci, you are the gold standard in the knitting community for clear, straightforward and to-the-point videos. Thanks for clearing this DPN cast-on up for me. 💖 I have seen projects where the round was already in progress, but not how the round was started.

Thank you! My mom's mastectomy was last week. I am excited to have a tutorial to make the Knitted Knockers for her. You have helped so many with their passion for knitting, but this means so much more.

My church needlework group made knockers knitted and crocheted. We did it for a whole year as our mission project. They are so fast and easy. Such a great thing to do!

Hi Staci, just wanted to leave a suggestion. I noticed you don't have a video on Latvian braids, a video explaining the technique and all the ways we can incorporate them into a pattern might be a good idea. And thank you for all the amazing videos, I've learned a lot from you!

I love your videos and find them very helpful. I am currently struggling with the provisional cast on in the round. I'm certain you have a video on that but I can't find it. Could you tell me that videos name please sol that I may review it please. Thank you.

Is there any potential problem with switching from circular needles to DPNs? I've been knitting a scarf in the round using circulars and they're too long so I'm constantly having to yank the yarn around and pull excess cable through the middle, so DPNS might be quicker.

With the knitted knockers is it something that's possible by using magic loop? I don't own dpns but do have cable needles.
