We don't really celebrate valentine's day, but we have a tradition of buying each other a valentine gift after valentine. With the demand that there is a big discount sticker on it. Just to get a dig in on the capitalist way valentine is celebrated these days 😅

yes. me and my hubby have been together for 55 yrs! so we are going to a restaurnant to eat.if u go to lunch it will be cheaper. we sent each other love letters on the email. 💖💖💖💖knitting is my love language too!!

I'm aroace and also not a fan of the capitalist Valentine's day hellscape so... nope! That being said, this video was delightful and I said "awww" out loud when you told your meeting story ☺️

Of course something that looks impossibly enormous on you would fit your giant of a husband wonderfully! That fairy tale was so romantic, and Happily Ever After seems to be continuing on nicely.

What a sweet fairytale you told us! I hope they live happily ever after. My partner is the only other person for who I've knit things; the first pair of socks I ever knit was for him and he wore them until his toes were sticking out. I've now made him a new pair made from much better yarn! And I've also crocheted him a hat (he is also a giant and standart size hats don't fit him), with stripes that are his initials in binary code. We're nerds too!

The cutest giant and the cutest hat! Personally I think the funniest part of being serenaded with that music would be having the orchestra trailing behind you. Joke aside, I think the best serenade is actually music that has meaning to either person (or ideally both, but just sharing something important and personal is good too you know what I mean?)

I don't think I used a pattern 😅 but it is a rectangle with one of the long sides sewn shut and then another skinny rectangle to go around the neck, basically

hahaha, nu weet ik mijn fout, ik was dezelfde muts aan het maken en ik snapte het maar niet, ben een paar keer herbegonnen, maar nu weet ik dus de fout van de 3 steken, merciekes !
