Hey Brooke, Great to hear from you again. First let me say that it’s nice that you have goals and direction for your hobby, BUT, you’re overthinking it. This is a hobby. Knit patterns that speak to you. Use yarns that make you happy. There is a reason that Petite Knit is popular. Her patterns are relatively easy and very wearable. Don’t stress if something that you love is not in 6 sizes. Do you make sure that all of your store bought clothes are also offered in the plus or junior departments? The pants and t-shirt you are wearing? You might focus instead on something specific to our craft. The treatment of the animals for example. I love that you are very thoughtful and want to joint the latest movement, but at the end of the day . . . It’s a hobby. Don’t add unnecessary stress.

An idea for your alpaca yarn! The cargill sweater ☺ I made the cargill cowl in alpaca and it's so deliciously soft I'm in love with it and it's a DK weight pattern - perfect!

Hi Brooke. I stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and I really enjoy your videos, especially how much you focus on size inclusivity even though you can wear "straight" sizes. I hope you make another video soon, I'd love to see the progress you've made on your 2023 knitting plans (or if you've gone off the plans and knit something else!)

Really love your videos, and your plans are inspiring ! Thanks for sharing a bit of personal stuff too, I have been struggling with anxiety too, and knitting and spinning have been helping very much ! I just need to be careful not to overdo it, my arm, neck and wrists are sending me messages 😅 hahaha You are so right that we have to be mindful on every level when it comes to knitting. ☺

Hi Brooke, nice to see you again, really liked your video 🤗 Alpaca yarn with mohair would have a really nice drape and be nicer than alpaca alone…

I have the luna tee on my 2023 to knit list too! for the alpaca maybe a wrap that you could also use as a small lap blanket? I think alpaca could be really nice in something like that

I have a few 100% alpaca DK/sport yarns in my stash and I’m thinking of using those for more drapey, lightweight sweaters. I’m thinking maybe the weekender light from Andrea Mowry or cozy classic raglan from Jessie Maed!

I wouldn’t use your mohair in the marble sweater. The mohair called for in their is twice as thick as standard mohair so your mohair may get kind of lost amongst the other yarn since the ratio would be so little! I actually think two skeins of mohair should be enough for a White Mountain by Midori Hirosi
