The Bayverse was never meant to be 100% canon though, it was meant to be its own take on the Transformers while still referencing the original content, which I believed it achieved perfectly. Galvatron was a bit wacky and far-fetched, but still very interesting.

Protect the staff

Some of the Guardian knights look techno-organic already, considering the fact that one of the damaged ones had a skull in their head. Maybe the Guardian Knights were Quintessa's first attempt at this? Also, they look like they are made of stone or clay. Bout as brittle as it too.

Well it was probably because these guys protected the alspark but when optimus sent the alspark off cybertron they had to find it and when they found it on earth they probably spent a lot of time there just a theory correct me if I’m wrong

Actually they should not have kept that end credits scene. Like the normal ending in which optimus and the others return to cybertron is perfect to end the series.

The one thing that continues to baffle me about the Bayverse is that with every movie they change something which results in a soft reboot, and expect us not to notice.

Yeah, because theyre movies about action figures. Very, very few people care.

I think the 12 Guardian Knights were the ones created by Quintessa to battle the other Creators, and only after realizing their mistake did they betray her. I think the Cybertronian Knights were just Cybertronian explorers, which would explain how the Dinobots were able to take Dinosaur forms (Maybe they visited Cretaceous Earth and took the form of Dinosaurs there).

Yeah it's kind of too bad that the bumblebee movie is a reboot, as opposed to a prequel, as it means we'll probably never find out what happens with Unicron, what quintessa will do, and were Megatron ended up. Maybe in 30 years we'll get a conclusion to the Bay films.

Micheal bay was fired from being a director to the movies, eventually ending the whole bayverse film even though he didn't want to And he already had 3-4 movies planned as well after the last knight, and I don't think he would ever just stop on The last knight since he still wasn't done I saw a leak saying he was going to make a bumblebee movie, the 2018 reboot bumblebee was supposed to be a Micheal bay film but since he was fired, the idea of bayverse bumblebee's story was scrapped and the bumblebee movie idea was adopted by Travis knight If Micheal bay wasn't fired he would probably have made a bumblebee movie as a prequel to the first transformers film and then make the sequel to The last knight movie, where Unicron was waking up and quintessa still alive

Here’s my theory on the Primes, Knights, Quintessons, and the other Transformers along with the wars. This is a very long theory so probably best to read the “short” version. TLDR: 7 Primes created by Primus to defeat Unicron. Primus goes to sleep while the Primes and Quintessons create the Transformers. Iacon Knights, Dinobots and Orion/Optimus are created. Eventually Sentinel and Megatron (who is a random Transformer) are born. Primes are drawn to Unicron and Megatronus falls his influence. Big battle for the matrix and the Quintessons take control of Cybertron while Sentinel serves as a public figurehead. The Fallen works in the shadows. Quintesson civil war breaks out with Quintessa winning. The Knights go with Quintessa to the Quintesson homeworld and betray her. Iacon knights establish Iacon and Orion has his mind wiped. The Fallen corrupts Megatron and the civil war starts. Optimus is made a prime. Dinobots leave and Lockdown is employed by the surviving Quintessons. The Iacon knights leave for Earth. Megatron and Sentinel make their deal, Allspark and Megatron go to Earth. Shockwave, Soundwave, and Starscream publicly lead the Decepticons. Iacon Knights are awakened by Merlin during the Saxon invasion and the Wiccan Society is formed after their departure from England. Fallen sends out the Seekers to find the Matrix, Allspark, and Megatron. Bumblebee and Hot Rod are sent to Earth to find the Allspark. Secret war between the Seekers, Earth Autobots, and refugees is fought. Sentinel completes the space bridge and crashes on the moon. Optimus is now leader and Cybertron is abandoned. The Nemesis crashes on Europa and some Decepticons are sent to Earth. Barricade learns of Project Iceman and Blackout comes to Earth. Optimus regains his Knight memories while fighting Lockdown in Mexico. At some point Quintessa escapes to Cybertron and creates a new army. Primus is now becoming like Unicron due to all the plant growth. The 7 original primes were created by Primus with the use of the Allspark to help him defeat Unicron. After Primus went into hibernation the Quintessons made contact with the Primes which would lead to them creating the first generation of Transformers with the aid of the Allspark which would have been responsible for the creation of the Primes, Primus and Unicron. Since the Primes and the Quintessons were allied they never had a war. At this time both groups of knights and Optimus (who would have named Orion Pax) would be created. At some point the Matrix was created, which could have been the key to making Unicron go into hibernation. As the Primes used their Star Harvesters to create energon, they would be led to Earth by Unicron. When the Primes reached Earth, Unicron managed to turn Megatronus/The Fallen to his side, causing the first civil war. After the battle ended on Earth, The Fallen and his army killed all of the Prime loyalists and returned to Cybertron to work in the shadows since the Quintessons had taken control of the planet. Sentinel Prime would have been made a prime since he was in the process of becoming one and would now serve as a figurehead to allow Quintesson control. Then the Quintesson civil war happened with Quintessa winning. Both Quintessa, the Dinobots, the Iacon Knights and Orion Pax went to the Quintessan homeworld. This is where the Knights betrayed Quintessa who would then be imprisoned while the Knights went back to Cybertron. Orion would have his memories wiped and would serve as Sentinel Prime’s student. Eventually The Fallen would get the gladiator Transformer that would become Megatron to come to his side and lead a revolution against Sentinel. Orion would become Optimus and then the second Transformer civil war starts. At some point the Dinobots left with the Knight ship and would be captured by Lockdown. Lockdown at this time would be one of the many mercenaries, he being the most infamous, aiding both factions but he would eventually work for the Quintessons, not Quintessa. Once Cybertron was nearly destroyed the Iacon knights left since Iacon was going to be destroyed and they needed to protect the staff from The Fallen and Sentinel. After they left, Sentinel and Megatron made their deal, with Sentinel sending the Allspark into space on a course for Earth with Megatron following. The Allspark and Megatron would have reached Earth sometime around the Old Kingdom of Egypt to give a timeframe for when it would have arrived. The Iacon Knights would have already been on Earth in hibernation. When the Saxon invasion of Celtic England in the 500s began is when Merlin eventually met Stormreign and awoke the Knights seen in the TLK prologue. After the Saxons had gained enough land to push Arthur and the Celts into what would have been Wales is when the Knights left since the major war had come to a stalemate. The Wiccan Society that formed from Arthur’s knights and Merlin would be created with their role of keeping the Transformers hidden from the rest of the world given to them by Stormreign. Cogman would be the only Transformer from the Iacon ship left behind to serve the Society. The Fallen would send out the Seekers whose main role was to find the Matrix on Earth but also find the Allspark and Megatron. The Transformer refugees that reached Earth would have been drawn by the three artifacts on the planet and Unicron, hence why Transformers have always been drawn to the planet. The Seekers and the refugees would fight each other, leading to the few Transformers known to be in hibernation in RotF and TLK. Only the Transformers at Castle Folger and the Seekers across Earth would be the only survivors. Bumblebee and Hot Rod were sent to Earth because Sentinel didn’t trust the Seekers so he wanted them to find the Allspark. Hot Rod would remain in Europe while Bee would go to the US after WW2. At this point in the war Soundwave, Shockwave, and Starscream were the public leaders of the Decepticons and were helping Sentinel finish the creation of the space bridge pillars based on the space bridge tools the Primes and G1 transformers had. Sentinel would finish his space bridge project in 1962 (I don’t remember when the space race to the moon started). Then the DotM past events would happen but the Ark chase was supposed to be a coverup but the Decepticon that shot down the Ark was never told of Sentinel’s mission. Optimus would become the Autobot leader and the war would eventually get to the point where all Transformers abandoned Cybertron. The Fallen would take the Nemesis to Earth but crashed on Europa, he would then send out the 07 Decepticons and Shockwave to Earth while he and Soundwave tried to save as many Decepticons as possible. Somehow Hot Rod and Bumblebee defeated Shockwave and froze him at the pace where he was located in the DotM game. At this time Jetfire would go into hibernation because he too little energon to stay active and would go to rest while on a US base where a Blackbird wouldn’t out of place. He would have learned in his time on Earth that the humans may have found the Tomb of the Primes, hence the riddle he would tell Sam. Barricade and Frenzy would learn of Project Iceman in 07 and Blackout would come to Earth starting the first movie. Optimus would get his Knight memories back when fighting Lockdown in Mexico. Quintessa would escape and return to Cybertron after the planet had been ripped in half and then the part above Earth in DotM was sent crashing back into the other half. She would try to heal Primus since he was nearly killed by the space bridge. As he heals, he becomes like Unicron due to being near suns and his organic metal.

I think the logo on optimus’ sword got there when cybertron started to get closer to earth because his sword might be a sign of the apocalypse like the talisman

I've always thought about what if Cade's talisman formed as an armour around his body as well as a sword. That would have made him more suitable for battle, as well as it looks more cool and giving Cade something of significance to do in the end. Another ending could be, fx: Quintessa has the staff on the chamber, Cade races towards it with excalibur to slice it, they both race towards it, Hot-rod shooting slow-mo gun at them, and then Cade barely manages to slice it in half before he gets hit with Quintessa's sparkles. There, Cade's important talisman wouldn't have just been dropped off never mentioned again, and we would have got an explanation for what happened to merlin's staff. As I don't recall the ending besides Vivian dragging it off the chamber,after that there were no mentioning of the staff. If you would choose, what would you have done with Cade's sword/talisman after he used it trans theories? As well as staff? Any good suggestions?

@@salsaspartan7 yes my fault, I picked it up last time I saw it. I guess he used it to rebuild Cybertron. But it would still been better if they had some better usage of it in the final battle since it is the «all great powerful weapon». Seems like the writers forgot what they brought up in the prologue , when they said that the staff controls the dragon, and then in the final battle the dragon transforms and has a will of their own. Now it is just a key for the portal of draining earth… guess that’s alright but still wanted some cooler stuff with it

@@Theorymus i think that Optimus was going to kill Quintessa with out thinking twice cuz she is a creator and the creators made the seed and the seed could kill his human friends and we know what Orion Pax looks like he looks like Optimus in the Last Knight and AOE but is Blue and Orange with Red flames and would transform to what he Transformed into in the Bumble Bee movie cuz OPTIMUS was always a Knight and Steel Ban is older than Prime cuz i think he is Optimus 's Dad

I always wondered why Optimus was never going to fight the guardian knights? He was just going to accept them killing him ? Bee was ready to defend him if I remember and Kade ended up stopping then with the sword. I always wondered that.

the concept of the knights has potencial and they should re do this idea in the future

I have a theory about Quintessa created Orion Pax as a Knight. After Orion Pax betrayed Quintessa, Sentinel Prime mentor him until he was ranked a Prime. Leaving his knight life all the way until Age of Extinction.

If the staff has the power of creation and can only be wielded by a witwiccan then does that mean that Vivian, being the last witwiccan, can basically make transformers?🤔🤔🤔

Great video!!! A tiny addition, The Knights were in Stasis for centuries so they never scanned a modern earth vehicle and never adapted to the more modern style, unlike Optimus who although didn’t initially remember being a Knight, still was awake and active in the modern day

This may put up a new spin on Optimus's character from the Bayverse. This could mean that Optimus is older than Megatron, but then again in the first movie, he has his aft kicked by Megatron (Who is larger and more experienced in his guns and brute fighting style). Then again, Megatron could be older than Optimus. Who knows. What is your take in this? And who do you think is older, Optimus or Megatron?

Bayverse optimus primes life story: Part 1 Optimus was created by Quintessa along with six other transformers called the cybertronian knights who tamed and rode their own dinobot which quintessa personally made, this was a century before cybertrons great revolution where the transformers kicked their creators off the planet, optimus and his sibling knights did as their master had told them to and killed many of quintessas species thinking they were protecting the universe, however, when they discovered what quintessa had been planning, they rebelled and fought quintessa, they also fought against her followers who joined her side and a massive battle took place where three of the dinobots were killed, all six of the original knights were slaughtered and everyone but quintessa were vanquished, it was just the last remaining dino bots, optimus and quintessa but she decided it wasn't worth her time seeing as she was very weak, she escaped and optimus put down his sword hoping to never need to wield it ever again. Years later, the autobot revolution began, optimus was but a soldier who he and his fellow colleges were being lead by the legendary sentinel prime, who lead the attack on their creators, it was a gruesome battle but they successfully won, the great creators were forced to abandon their most prized factory planet over to the autobots. However, after leaving the creators decided to do one last thing to win back cybertron, they disabled the mechanisms that created self replenishing energon and without the planet being close to a sun for harvesting, it was hopeless, that was until the great primes rose to power and began harvesting stars for energon by recruiting seekers to hunt down suns which's worlds didn't have life on them. It all went well but one of the primes, megatronus didn't like the idea of leaving perfectly harvestable suns alone all because a world had life on it, he then decided to break the rules by creating the first ever generation of decepticons, Megatronus was lead to earth by jetfire who found weird signals coming from the planet specifically that weren't normal, megatronus didn't cared and mainly cared about the sun, it was a perfectly young star and had energon that could last centuries, the decepticons created the spire and were planning to use the matrix of leadership for which megatronus had stolen in order to power it. Meanwhile, Optimus was founded by sentinel prime, Optimus had always looked up to sentinel and when being founded he was taken to see the primes but unfortunately they were all away fighting megatronus's army on earth. Sentinel didn't know where they had vanished off to, seeing how the other primes had to leave so quick and forgot to inform their brother, Sentinel decided to take optimus under his wing and began training him to become a warrior, he told optimus of his stories of how he was created to fight a being called unicron and that unicron was the great creators first rouge transformer. When Sentinel got word of what had happened to his brothers his spark sank into sorrow, he was the very last prime, his brothers sacrificed themselves not only to seal away the matrix of leadership but to banish megatons to a dimension where he could not harm anyone, he was then named the fallen. The battle against the first gen decepticon army and the fallen had diminished all the cybertronian space ships, rendering it impossible to continue harvesting energon from suns and when the great creators came back, life had only became much worse. The autobots were successful yet again in repelling their old masters but at the cost of order, the old autobot nation collapsed and the world fell into a dystopian planet, smaller factions came and went, energon was scarce and they cybertronian people were imprisoned on their planet with no escape, it truly was the darkest hour. That was until sentinel prime and wheeljack discovered a way to bring a star to them, so they can safely harvest it for new energon, enough to restart their civilization again. But unfortunately, an enemy faction known as the betacons got wind of this and thought it would destroy them all, so they planned an assault to permanently halt progression of the supposed super weapon. When sentinel learned of the attack, he immediately called upon as many transformers as he could to help defend the device, even recruiting those who hadn't gotten much experience in battles, it was desperate times, the betacons attacked sentinels outposts but the ones guarding the outposts were able to push back with the leadership of optimus prime who slayed countless batacons, it was in one of these battles he met ratchet and ironhide, ironhide was a soldier he cut down but refused to kill when he yielded, optimus was going to leave him when a medic came along and dragged ironhide away, it was quick but little did they know how much they will go through in the future. The betacons soon pushed through the guarded outposts and made way to sentinel primes machine, though luckily for him, he had found a strong warrior, one who he even saw a bit of optimus inside of him, one who escaped from an energon mining facility and who had fought in gladiatorial battle, his name was megatron, he called himself that after one of the great primes who's strength he always admired. Sentinel prime had megatron defend the front lines with optimus and another warrior, Alita one whilst they finished the beta version of the space bridge, once completed, wheeljack activated the machine and a massive beam shot into space, creating a portal from which a star appeared from. Everyone stopped fighting to admire its beauty and upon realising what the machine truly was, The betacons ceased fire and held down their weapons, optimus informed them of their plan and the betacons bowed in respect, Ironhide, who lead the charge went up to optimus and thanked him for saving everyone and that the betacons were wrong to not have faith in a prime, sentinel came with wheeljack, megatron and alita by his side and shook hands with ironhide, thus beginning the second golden age of cybertron.

Honestly, I think the whole knight concept would of fit The Primes better. Go more depth into them and even introduce more of them. I just found them confusing trying to figure out who’s who (Yes, some of the knights have been named). It’s a nice concept, but just doesn’t go well.

Title: why is optimus a knight? Me: because the writers said so lol

Optimus being Grimlock's former "handler" is really cool. Same goes for how the Knights used the staff to expand their ranks on Earth. However, I wonder if Merlin had control over the staff, and used it to create warriors of his own. This would not only give backstory to some characters introduced in The Last Knight, it may also explain why it only responded to his descendant, Vivian.

Wait a minute If quintessa was going to make techno organic transformers, and according to leaks, rise of the beast's will have connections to the last knight, what if rise of the beast's will be the transformers equivalent to days of future past, with the bayverse actually being a bad timeline, and the beast wars cast went back in time to change the future and set it on the right path

To be fair He had no choice since The last knight did "badly" in the box office I heard somewhere that he was fired from being a director, instantly ending the whole bayverse universe, but I still can't believe they fired him just after The last Knight's ending being a cliffhanger With Unicron waking up, and quintessa still alive, it such a big twist and they decided to just end it there

Is it just me or does Quintessa kind of look like a live action Botanica from beast machines? Also the techno-organic cybertron is also similar to how it looked in the end of beast Machines.

What the bayverse really needs is a movie that ties up all the loose ends as well as the plot holes of the five movies. If they were able to pull that off, I think there is still a chance to revive the franchise.

Personally, I think the reason Grimlock was so ok with Prime riding him is because The Dinobot seems to have a power system of "The strongest leads" and Prime beat Grimlock in battle so it was natural for Grimlock to submit. They are like dogs, we can see this more in TLK with how Grimlock acts with Kade. Also, I don't think Optimus had a relationship with Grimlock before as when goes to free them he says "So the legends are true" meaning one The Dinobots are a myth to them, and two Optimus is meeting them for the first time.

The Dinobots are just not so bright compared to other Cybertronians. I think they're made for brawn purposes only, as they're not that skillful

Fair warning: I started to type out a small comment but It ended up as a decently sized rant. Not related to the video at all but, stuff happens. I wish they'd finish the story with movie 6 rather than making an entire reboot. I know people hate bayverse for various reasons, but It was my childhood. I didn't like Hasbro just dumping the universe all together to just re-create G1 but with fancy new graphics, It's annoying. Mainly when they're catering to the G1 fanboys when rebooting an entire bloody franchise. Call me what you want, but I don't like being Invested in a universe I genuinely love no matter what, and then loosing It all one movie away from completion *just* to please the G1-ers who complain about how "transformers changed." Of course It changed, It can't be blocky cartoons forever. Complain about "but It was my childhood" or "they deviated from the source material," because that's just being selfish. What about *my* childhood? Or the childhoods of thousands of other people who were Introduced to transformers with the 2007 movie? None of us were lucky enough to be born In the 1970s/80s with the OG show. We didn't experience a show made purely to sell toys. All we had were a couple of movies and a dozen-or-so comics for our universe. What did they have? A movie, four seasons, multiple comic stories, a soft reboot, and IDW basically making modern G1 with their 2005~ comic universe. I don't like you crapping over what I love just because It doesn't make sense to *you.* I'm not bashing G1, I love the cartoon and I've seen It all a few times now. But It's not Bayverse, and Bayverse Isn't G1. Was never meant to, It was just supposed to make movies about alien robots fighting with realistic graphics. If you wanted to make a reboot, fine, but at least let me enjoy the final movie before you do so. I wanted to enjoy watching my childhood story be complete. Would people have hated it? Probably. Would It have failed at the box office? Probably. Would people hate bayformers even more? Absolutely. But at least It would've been complete. I'm not hating on G1, and I don't want to ruin anyone else's childhood by dumping on it. I don't mind the reboot, but I just wanted the story to be complete before It got tossed out.

I agree wholeheartedly i was born in 2002 so the bay movies was what i grew up with so the reboot is kinda eh the only thing i liked was soundwaves design

I guess you forgot to mention Megatron was also redesigned to look like a Dark verison of Optimus's knight body with his proportions being based on G1 Megatron if more medieval looking

About the Slug with the Autobot logo, that was in The Last Knight so Slug would've been with the Autobots for a few years meaning the logo could've been added onto his head during that time period.

Yay! I’ve been waiting for this video for a long time! The knights always confused me with how they are mentioned in AOE then Last Knight. Also the whole last knight plot hole issue of how they keep saying there are 12 knights to form Dragonstorm but we see multiple knights get killed throughout the film

The knights that was killed on the knight ship (zombie knights) was not part of Dragonstorm.

While I did say what I said idk if Grimlock and Prime were apart of the same group. Cause when he found grimlock he said the legend exists almost as if he never knew they were real.

I do miss the old prime in his classic peterbilt truck mode that he had from the 1st movie to the 3rd movie and plus Bayformers is still my childhood when i was introduced to Bayformers stuff since my girlfriend/wife brought me to the theaters and i'm a little bit upset that hasbro had to be a total heel by rebooting the live action transformers to make G1 fans happy i hope all of you G1 fans are happy for ruining my Bayformers childhood and also i wonder when will hasbro make a another transformers crossover like a Mad Max fury road 2 pack that we get Max's Interceptor and Furiosa War rig that would be awesome to have
