Hi, Kate! I work with a female Knight of Swords. When she approaches me, I can feel the energy rolling off of her and it just about mows me down. She is a lovely person, but I can only engage with her in smaller doses because I am pretty laid back and she is so full of energy. One time at work she had me somewhat trapped at my desk talking to me for a longer period of time and I just wanted to run 😆Again, she is a lovely person, but I can never get my vibrational energy level up to meet hers and she wipes me out. oh I know exactly what you mean!!! I know a few people like that - high energy talkers that, despite being nice people with good intentions, manage to suck the energy right out of me in a short period of time. I can very much relate!

When I was in high school I had a friend who had a deck.. She said the first card I drew was me.. I drew the Kight of Swords. It has haunted me since.

Thank you so much for this video, it helped me to understand this card better! I have a friend like this and everything you said just fits so perfectly. He hates relationships, is a workaholic, earns and spends a lot of money, loves to hear himself talking and even joined the military :D

They look like regular birds to me, not owls. I just had another peek to be sure! I definitely don't associate this Knight with wisdom. The King and Queen, yes, but not this Knight.

I have some of these traits, being a self employed artist and former arts event planner. Kind of get this lady.

I unfortunately dated a Knight of Swords guy. Ugh!!!! a disaster! You really captured this Knight. I learn so much from your deep dives Kate. Thank you for these!!!

Knight of swords men are horrendous people 😭💔 I’ve never felt pain like this in my 42 years until I started dating him, I’m still trying to survive it but I don’t think I’ll ever have a normal life again

WOW! Your perspectives on these cards is spot on. I am taking myself through a reading using Woven Spread, The Knight of Swords is # 4 my immediate past and The Queen of Swords is number 3 What to Strive For (The Fool was #1 and The Chariot was #2) So I am off to great start, letting go of all that I don't need from my past, creating clean new space to manifest a very successful future with my new coaching partner, who is also my son. I am striving for the Queen of Swords, exhausted delighted to have The Knight of Swords in my immediate past. The Court Cards are tricky - I hope my series helps you cozy up to them more :)

I see him as a calculated risk taker. I do not agree as a drug fueled party goer. If he was in reversed, absolutely but not in the upright.

I don’t see anything calculated here. I feel like that’s more King of Swords or King of Wands. The Knight is pure energy, pure risk without the wisdom and balance the King brings.

I can see where you are coming from with this Knight from the RWS depiction. But I'm going to respectfully disagree a bit. I think PCS showed too much Wands energy in this card, almost the Knight of Swords shadow of being reckless and out of control. I see these Swords court cards as being more intellectual, studious, thoughtful. To me this knight might be a teacher, a philosopher, a writer, maybe a scientist or inventor. But I don't think he'd get bored and go off half-cocked without a project as intelligent people are good at keeping themselves from getting bored, although they might be boring to other, less intellectual people! I did love where in the Kn. of Wands (Indiana Jones) video you called this guy a James Bond.

You might be onto something here!

I have had a run of bad luck and I am asking the way out, how to return to good times and I’ve had knight of swords MULTIPLE times, in future and outcome positions. I’m not sure if this means a knight is coming or I need to be the knight.

I am not like this knight but I definitely do know someone who is like this night and they can be very self destructive. I think this knight would wear me out

I know what you mean - he has his positive qualities, but he can be exhausting to be around sometimes!

I’ve also heard that the knight of swords can be judgmental, caustic, and very uncareful with their words.

No, the King of Swords is a different card and while there are some similarities, the King is a more mature, refined version of the Knight. He is more grounded and stable and less intense. I'll be doing a video on him at some point...once I get through the pages!
