These performers are just dripping with talent. Genius
Frank Gorshin as Richard Burton in Camelot was actually very moving.
I was 14 years old when this aired and have never forgotten the power of Frank Gorshin's portrayal of Richard Burton in the final scene of Camelot at 47:45. Unforgettable!

I remember being about 11 and seeing this. I didn’t really know who Richard Burton was yet but I realized the Riddler had a soul. Tremendous performance.

It was captivating!
Superb impressions here. I was particularly impressed with David Frye's Henry Fonda (never heard anyone else do that one), Frank Gorshin's Richard Burton and Georgel Kirby's Nat Cole!

Gorshin also does a fantastic Burt Lancaster.
That theme song is forever, I love it!
Awesome show...Frank Gorshin's Kirk Douglas..PRICELESS
I've never heard ANYONE do Andy Devine - THAT is BRILLIANT!
This is one of those skits you can't help but watch multiple times. Frank Gorshin & George Kirby were so hilarious together! Thought I might've picked up Gorshin doing a little Maurice Chevalier at 12:13.😂
I remember watching "The Kopykats" when the show first aired back in the days of really good variety shows and this one was really good with a good cast of really excellent performers/entertainers.
I lost it with the William F Buckley impersonation. Hilarious and part of the Zsa Zsa Gabor skit.
Frank Gorshin and Rich Little were incredibly funny ... those two had me in stitches 👍👍
Love this. Love George Kirby Frank and Rich Little. Oh my God Frank as Richard Burton 😮😮😮👏👏
Now this was classic comedy on TV back in 1970.
I used to watch this with my mother.
Whoa the "Black Bart" sketch was amazing. The Henry Fonda impression was spot-on and hilarious. The Walter Brennan and Kirk Douglas impressions were just as good.
Concluding this excellent variety show "with an all around excellent cast" with the late great Frank Gorshin ( who I worked with in Atlantic City in the 90's) doing Camelot was a grand finally indeed!
OMG the dip commercial @ 14:45. What happy memories of childhood killing a bag of Lays and a Kraft french onion dip in the scalloped tin container with the pry off lid. My poor kids and grandkids can never know that joy. Dip from a plastic tub just isn't the same.
Wow that theme clocked in at 2:49 🤪
Remember watching these as a kid. Love the Kraft commercials. Another great upload.

The Kraft commercials are an instant time tunnel to my childhood. Just seeing them and hearing the voiceover makes me feel forget all the problems of the day and feel like I'm a kid again without a worry.
An "All-Star Game" of impressionists. Outstanding.
I remember this been shown on UK TV back In the day. Only I had no Idea who half of them were. But they were funny. And It would be In Black and white, as we didn't get colour TV till 1972. Then this was In USA NTSC or (Never the same colour twice), Thanks for the upload, great.
Okay, now you’re just being unbelievable! Shows we didn’t even know existed in relatively clean duplicates! I hope you have multiple digital copies which you’re archiving online, offline, with library of Congress, Amazon, archive.org, museums, etc.Absolutely priceless.

George Kirby was so talented
Just brilliant.
Sadly..Will,Frank,George,Edie and Dave..are long gone.
I vaguely remember this unique show. I was just a kid but I'm sure my parents watched it
What a group of talent! They just don't make 'em like that anymore!
Rich Little did Walter Brennan perfectly.
I remember watching Kopykats on ABC as part of their comedy hour, never knew it was part of Kraft tv hour on NBC. Found Frank Gorshin's of Burton's final scene of Camelot to be exceptionally well done.
Loved Walter Brennan as Deputy Stumpy in Rio Bravo, Rich Little nails him here. Interesting side note: Walter never walked with a limp, it was just a gimmick he added to many of the characters he played to play up the crochety old man role.
I Remember This Show! These Guys Were People I Looked Up To When I Was A Kid! I'm Surprised Sammy Davis Jr. Wasn't Included.
The best collection of impersonators in all the world.
I was fourteen when this aired, just before my birthday in December. I remember the episode distinctly, especially with the ending with Gorshin doing Crawford from Highway Patrol, Little doing Wayne, etc. What a memory. They were all some of the best impersonators and imitators at that time. Gorshin's Lancaster was perfect.

It brought back childhood memories, for me too! Gorshin was/is my favorite. Who does Broderick Crawford!? And spot on! His Lancaster is for the ages. It was also great experiencing his Richard Burton. One can tell Frank was a real actor too. Just amazing, all were really talented. And George Kirby's duet, Nat Cole and Ella!? Mind blowing, 😃😆

Younger people probably don't know who most of the women Edie is doing are, but here is a list, in case they are curious: (1) Carol Channing, (2) Marlene Dietrich, (3) Shirley Temple, (4) Mae West, (5) Phyllis Diller, (6) Barbra Streisand (the one they are most likely to know of), and (7) Ethel Merman, the ballsiest broad on Broadway!

This series was fantastic!
Will did the best Ed Sullivan imitation.

Everybody and their brother did Ed, and they usually exaggerated his stiff, awkward stage mannerisms. The poor man never seemed to quite know where to put his hands, but he had an amazing instinct for finding talent and putting on (please forgive me) a really big shew! 😅😅😅
thank you

Fantastic....😅
Marilyn Michaels would have been a good addition to the cast, she was a talented impressionist and had an amazing singing voice.

This was one of two Kopykats episodes which aired within NBC's Kraft Music Hall series. The second episode aired in January 1971. The short-lived "Kopykats" series lasted 7 episodes and aired within "The ABC Comedy Hour" umbrella between January and April of 1972. If IMDb is correct, Kirby and Little appeared on all of the ABC and NBC Kopykat shows.
Great Nat King Cole, George Kirby! Great talent in ALL this show! Please, IF POSSIBLE, re-post every Kopykat episode. TOTALLY ENJOYABLE ENTERTAINMENT!
This was long before the "MTN Gang" are the "KopyKats" of Kyle Rangel's "Kyle and the Gang/Rangeltoons".
