Just flown back from Japan on klm, in economy and I have to say it was amazing the staff were excellent and I enjoyed the food and entertainment, definitely flying with them next year for the Olympics

Thanks for watching Dennis. I'm glad you like the vid. KLM certainly have a different style than SQ or EK but it's always a great -and very typical- experience. Just be aware that their hardware varies between the brand new B787, the recently refitted B747 and some B777, some 'old' B777 and the A330. So you may want to check beforehand which plane you'll get. Look forward to your report already ; - )

The production quality of this video is very good!

Thanks for watching Yannis. Maybe I'd partly revise my opinion if you're sitting on the side with the sun, it may be interesting to dim the window. But I definitely don't like it when the entire cabin is controlled centrally ;-) Will fly KLM's Dreamliner to Mumbai in October - looking forward already (in spite of the dimmed windows ;-)

Very nice report! I love the blue livery and interior. I am American but half Dutch on my mom's side. I look forward to flying KLM some day!

I use to really like flying to Amsterdam on the MD11, but the 787 is my new fav, super quite and smooth, esp with the new world bus class KLM has its much better then what they had before.

Yeah was a really nice plane very refined running machine for the time and lots of room it seemed to bad it was not good on fuel, but as a frequent flyer I kind of like the cabin benefits of the dreamliner i get the feeling of being more productive after long haul dreamliner flights.

Thank you for this interesting and entertaining video. I appreciate the work you have gone to prepare it. I like the little touches of designs on the trays, meal carts and bathroom side wall. The amenity kit also looks attractive. KL has kept the center overhead bins in Business class. Despite it not really impeding on space I think it would have been nicer to have them removed. Thanks again.

Leuke video! De vernieuwde business lounge van KLM ziet er trouwens nu veel beter uit! Met een nieuw restaurant op de 2e verdieping waar je echt op sterrenniveau kunt eten! Is wel tegen betaling. Maar daar kom je wel een uur eerder voor naar het vliegveld. Ben benieuwd naar je andere video’s!👍

Really enjoyed the video. Aside from the dimming feature, did you appreciate the larger passenger windows at eye level? The service seemed excellent.

Thanks for watching, I'm gad you liked the vid. In these business class seats, you're actually a bit away from the windows, so you don't get to appreciate their size (or lack of size and unconfortable height as in the 737) like you were sitting right against them. But when you look through the cabin, you can see that they "stick out" above the seats - which provides quite good overall natural lghting level. Concerning the dimmers, maybe if I were sitting on the A-side during a transatlantic dayflight with 7 hours of non stop sunlight, I would appreciate them more but the fact that they can be centrally controlled and darkened when it's light outside is definitely a big dislike for me. What really struck me about the 787 was how quiet it was and the fact that you have indivudual air nozzles (again). And yes, KLM's service is great ;-)

Thanks for watching. I couldn't tell since this was Business. Just know that KLM's "Premium Economy" has the same seats as standard eco, they just have a slightly wider pitch. I guess you get some extra service though ; - )

Danke fürs Zuschauen. Ich war1989 in KLMs 'First' von Tokyo nach Anchorage geflogen. Andere Zeiten, andere Standards - ich muss sagen die heutige Business Class ist.besser ; - ) Thanks for watching. I flew KLM's 'First from NRT to ANC back in 1989. Different times, different standards. Have to say that today's Business Class is better ;-)

As indicated at 13:55 in the vid, I use a Canon CyberShot, a Nikon 1-J3 and a GoPro Hero4Silver. Thanks for watching. For the moment, my immediate an medium term travel plans do not include SAS (yet). Judging on some videos on KZread about their Business Class, they appear to be quite good, though ;-)

Pit Spielmann Thank you! and yes there cabins are very modern, even Economy class has high standards. Hope you fly with SAS someday! if you do, you should fly on the a330. But if you can you should wait a little because they are going to add A350.

SAS has no first class cabin (anymore) so that is disappointing. Businessclass is good but not "outstanding". I love La premiere class on Air France. Only 4 seats that means privacy and luxury. Then Comes Lufthansa`s Senator First class....superb SAS delays the phasing in of the A 350......and no Businessclass available on European routes

Have they fixed the exploding batteries in this type of aircraft firer in the sky is deadly ? It seems you would fly on this airliner because it does not take air out of the engines for the cabin like the 747

Ik heb met Emirates business gevlogen, maar ook met die van de KLM en als je overall kijkt dan is de service van Emirates echt geweldig....en als je naar de prijs kijkt van KLM wat je voor een ticket in de Business moet betalen.....

A small tip for KLM passengers, you can ask for noodles anytime, the food is really grim in this vid, actualy its usualy fine in economy, better than you would expect.

Air Canada a le 787-8 qu'ils utilisent sur CDG depuis YYZ en hiver seulement d'octobre à mars et pour le reste de l'année ils utilisent un Boeing 777-300ER.

KLM are not the only ones to still have a cart in Business; but at least theirs is covered with a film to create an overall coherence with other items s.a. china, menu cards, silverware etc. . Thanks for watching anyway ; - )

I don't quite understand: if you suggest taht this plane was a A350 and not a B787, no, it was a Dreamliner. If you suggest I should try the A350 instead of the B77, it's on my buckett list ;-) Thanks for watching anyway.
