KLM Boeing 787 Dreamliner Economy Comfort review
I had already flown to San Francisco on the Boeing 747 but I also had to come back. KLM operated this route with two aircraft type in summer. On my return flight I flew on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. An 11 hour non-stop flight. I did forget to mention that according to the seat map, the aircraft was supposed to be completely full, but yet there were still seats in the Economy Comfort cabin available that the crew tried to sell for € 170 ($195) to people in regular economy. No one did that. I had the whole row to myself, but unfortunately I sat on the bulkhead row, where the armrests are immovable due to the IFE screen. It was still a good flight and I enjoyed it very much.

Great trip report. I always wanted to fly with KLM because I am so obsessed with its inflight magazine =D and unfortunately I cancelled my year end trip (KLM B787) due to the pandemic. Thanks for showing us this.

Superbly edited and very interesting review as expected. I hate when crew control the 787 windows! Great music selection too it reminded me of Dennis Bunnik, what did you use?

Blake Edgington - Airborne thanks Blake! I know it’s so annoying with the windows. There is so much to see, like Greenland in my 747. The music is indeed by Dennis Bunik’s videos. I bought them off a website a while ago and I get to use them without risk of copyright claims. I can send the website over Facebook if you want!

Great tripreport 15 june we are going to Los Angeles with the dreamliner. But we have seat 11K not a good seat.. but row 10 is compleet full :(

NL Aviation super tof! Volgende keer zit ik liever rij 11 dan 10. De bulkhead vind ik niet zo fijn met de vaste dikke armleuningen. Wat vind je niet fijn aan rij 11?

@@Vuelogs Ik heb nog nooit rij 11 gevlogen met de Dreamliner maar ik denk dat ik dan net boven de vleugel zit. Niet echt een goede plek om te filmen :) En meestal rij 10 meer beenruimte maar als ik jou video zie valt dat vies tegen. Ik vloog met de A330 naar de Antillen. dit had nog oud interieur toen was rij 6 (1e rij Economy comfort) ideaal!

De bulkhead heeft meest minder beenruimte, omdat je er met je tenen tegenaan zit. Terwijl als je een stoel voor je hebt kun je je voeten onder de stoel kwijt. Dat icm de vaste leuningen en kleinere TVs maakt voor mij de voorste rij onaangenaam

@@Vuelogs Ja dat is wel zo ja.. als voordeel heb je dat niet iemand zijn stoel achterover kan gooien. Wordt voor mij eerste keer dreamliner met KLM. tot nu toe alleen in de dreamliner gezeten van TUI.

NL Aviation in economy comfort heb je ruim voldoende beenruimte, ook als iemand de stoel naar achteren gooit. Heel veel plezier in LAX!
That was the KLM 787-9 but in august KLM will receive its first Boeing 787-10.

I chose the row 10. It is in front of the wall. Wow, it is great. I am not a big guy, 170cm. It was great for me.
Fine video, however it was ‘grainy’.

Hi James, thank you very much! I use my iPhone 6S to record all videos and it only allows for digital zoom, what results in grainy footage sometimes.
This guy sounds dutch and american at the same time.
