Nash's idea using Punk in a role like a Piper's Pit is pretty fucking brilliant and if anyone can pull off one of these talk show segments and make them as good as Piper did, it's Punk. Make it happen, Hunter and give Kev some bread for the creative.

Completely agree. And in my book, and an Undertaker fan, he is the top of the mountain. Sorry, but hulk isn’t the top. Undertaker hands down is the best of all time. I feel like he had a great balance of being put over and putting over others, and his character seemed to evolve greatly with the times.

I agree with you Kev in that things happened quite frequently last second back in the day. I just think that in the case of Cody and the Mania Kickoff, That was literally changed hours before. I think WWE panicked when the shit with Vince and Brock being named came out, as well as Punk getting injured and Rollins working injured. They brought Rock in as a way to (in their eyes) Save Mania. I think that kinda sucks on the companies part cause That shows me they didn’t have enough faith in Cody to save the show. But only after the backlash and all the we want Cody stuff, the petition online etc… They realized this was becoming the Daniel Bryan situation from 2014 all over again. So they switched it last minute… but I really think This has a potential swerve or two. I think Rock turns on Roman and helps Cody win. We find out they were in cahoots all along… this sets up Roman vs Rock once Roman returns, probably for Summerslam. And Cody finishes his story. I also want to say that I always have felt that If the streak were to be beat, It should have been Bray who got the Pin. Not only did Brock not need it, but Bray carried that feud with Taker by himself for 2 months. Taker never showed up until the match at Mania. Bray literally kept the fans invested through his promos talking to taker. But had he gotten the W, ended the Streak, that would have been Taker’s way of passing the torch and Bray becoming the New Face of Fear would have actually meant something and pushed him to the moon!

I'm 37 and I was intrigued by the finish of the rumble like "wow they are really going to pull the trigger on somebody and really *make* somebody." The idea that Reigns has to hold on for a little longer so he can get that third place spot on the all-time list is dumb. Yay! I'm in THIRD place! That's just bizarre. I don't know if Cody can break that ceiling but it's worth a try and after you can break off the Rock and Roman to their own program. You build up to the eventual match at WrestleMania 41 and in the meantime you chase that Emmy Award you've been lobbying for and between the creative the Endeavor / TKO will be open to with Paul Heyman / Brian Gewirtz / whoever else you bring in and It All Leads up to a huge match next year and it doesn't even need the title. The title will make up another giant match on the card what you need because it's a two-night show now. No matter what they do or how they end up going about it what I'm happy with is that if it's true that they called an audible due to the reaction to the nonsensical Cody stepping aside for The Rock it is this: they are staying flexible. We all know McMahon was the type that wanted the shove his vision down the wrestling fans throat. The way they are doing this is much better. I said when royal rumble was over. That we are entering what wrestling used to be. Wwe ran in to a snag with WrestleMania with injuries and firings, and they called audibles . I KNEW and posted then that this was gonna be great. When I saw that 500,000 dislikes on Roman and rock face down. I knew that the next few months will be epic. My attitude era is the NEW Hogan era. That era aged out. Now the DX era is the old heads. And to set up Roman vs rock whenever it happens. I love wreslting since 90s and this first time in decades I post about wreslti.g now happily

Right up until the 1:18:00 mark when Kevin announces that despite no one caring about them talking politics, he’s gonna break some incredible news and tell us Republicans are in bed with Big Pharma (noooooo, really Kev?), I had to turn this off. We’re here because we don’t want to hear about politics big man.

Heyman has suggested that the Undertaker was supposed to win the match with Brock. But Brock dumped Taker on his head 3 times with Suplex City and gave him an F5 hooking the legs while Taker was actually knocked out. The Proof for this is that Taker went to the emergency room with Vince in the ambulance. And neither the referee or the timekeeper knew whether to ring the bell and count 3. Also, Brock's music was not keyed up at the end? I'm just saying that is what Heyman said. Heyman further commented, what are you going to do, say that was not the finish and fire Brock? Brock does what Brock wants to do. So if your the WWE you say that was the plan and you go along with it.

I saw what Heyman said but that wasn’t accurate. I saw the video where Mark.. the undertaker actually said that Vince came to him and told him that he was going over and Vince asked Mark if not Brock then who? And Mark said no one else… so Mark was not really happy about losing the streak but he agreed with Vince that the Brock was the one that he wanted to end it. The video is on KZread here.

Taker says that McMahon came into his dressing room earlier in the night and he knew immediately when he walked in the door he was taking the loss. Taker played up the concussion thing a little bit out of disgust and disappointment with the finish I believe because how do you finish the match okay and then walk all the way up that ramp just to collapse right past the curtain? I wonder what Kevin thinks about the NBA losing like 50% of its audience in the last decade. With the proliferation of the 3 pointer now everyone is jacking up 3s at a rapid rate and the game has been resigned to a high level game of horse. Sprinkle in load management, frequent blowouts and players not caring about the full 82 games the product has become almost unwatchable. Its amazing that when Jordan was the top guy, the NBA was neck and neck with the NFL. These days the NBA cant even get in the same stratesphere.
