What you do is so useful. The channel is a gem, thanks for your work.
thank you so much for this video!
I like the bass response from the Audioengine A5+ but love the High Crispy Clarity of the Klipsch R-51pm
I think klipsch sounds pretty good overall. Audioengine has more punch in the lows but again klipsch is almost there and sounds more natural.
Having both of this for a while, I would say Audioengines are the complete sounding speakers..... However, Klipsch with it's horn tweeters offer a sound that makes them unique... A sound more for Movies since is very open, wide and a very reference / true to it's source sound.
Klipsch sounds a little better to me..am I the only one?
thanks for your effort👍👍👍
I've got the Klipsch with a Sony 100 watt sub woofer and it sounds great. Haven't got my turntable hooked up yet but works great with my lap top and phone. Using USB interface to connect my laptop
Heard great stuff about the Mackie mr624, would love to hear a comparison between Mackie mr624 and Adam t7v
Hi, I'm looking for a set of powered speakers with bluetooth connectivity / usb as I am connecting them to a new iMac. But I'm also looking for a headphone input without getting a separate headphone amp if possible.I was considering the Kanto Tuk ,but still doing research, do you have any suggestions on a great sounding set up?
I've owned a set of A5+ speakers, but I prefer the sound of Klipsch R15PM which I now own. I'm guessing the R15PM doesn't sound much different than the R51PM. The A5+ sounds full and is easy on the ears but the Klipsch is clearer and reveals more of the detail in the music. I'm using a DacMagic 200m DAC for them.
great channel
You are good. You used at least 5 sources and of course a female voice and at the end I wanted to see the frequencies overlaid and you did, cheers. I am curious about the Microphone Distance from and if the room has been sorted. Cheers!
They sound so similar!!! Good battle
Cool thanks!)))
Klipsch has more texture, clarity, and space. Audioengine sounds fine, but more compressed or 'canned'. Maybe more modern actually, but I like the Klipsch.

Klipsch adds extra treble into the mix which is not there int he source file
The source track sounds very close to the Audioengine A5+
Which ones to get if you want to add a klipsch 120sw? Debating one of both for use on a pc
A5+ ! But it’s about preference! The A5+ were a little more heavy on the base, klipsch were focused on the mid-treble. As I was saying: preference! Both have a great mid-treble sound! I, personally, love the sound of Audioengine more. That’s my ear! 😀 and hey… we are talking not about external pre-amps and amps!
I'm in the market for some new speakers and I believe this has helped me decide on which one I'm buying. I enjoyed both, but the Klipsch sound is more to my liking, really clean mid-treble, Klipsch looks better, and better priced at the moment.
I ended up buying the Klipsch R-41PM and am quite happy. It was a toss up between that and the Kanto YU4 (also sounded excellent in person). I could not find the audio engine anywhere that I could listen to in person. Having tried buying on reviews (and returning twice) alone prior to going out. Covid made that difficult for a while.

@@carbonoxx The audio engine's are very well reviewed and I would encourage people to try them out if they are looking for new speakers. I agree that you also want to look for a sub woofer.
Advice please? Im looking for a set of desk speakers with optical input, sub out, a remote, and at least a 5-1/4 woofer. I was liking the Klipsch Sixes, but a heard they have a bad hiss. Anything similar without the hiss? (Sub out is optional but preferred) Thanks for the videos, just found your channel and am on a binge!

It is true about hiss in Klipsch speakers, not recommended for nearfield because of that. Have a look at AirPulse A100, see if it is available for you and within your budget
Could you please do one of the beginner Behringer Studio 50USB vs the Presonus eris 4.5
can you write the full info of the track Deep please?
Please can make Genelec 8010 vs Edifire Luna (those small fashion speakers) Pleasaase
To me it’s personal preference both sound great but to me klipsch sounds more vibrant with sparkle while the a5+ retains detail with more depth. A simple way of putting it the klipsch sounds more open than the a5+:)
Any chance of testing JBL Nano K4?
the audioengine is clearer... however... the klipsch makes you feel like you're there in person with the music... there's more higher end clarity with the audioengine but it almost oblierates the lower and midranges while the klipsch you can differentiate between the high middle and end ranges but the bass end may be a little muddy .... but really they sound comparable to each other... for bass enthusiasts you would need to pair the audioengine with a subwoofer. Anyways your channel is amazing.. thank you for these comparisons as they are more helpful than the other sites where people just keep talking and talking without no sound demo
klipsch with a sub..sounds great
Klipsch is 🔥
R-51PM sound is so clean A5+ sound bass is deep comfortable
Hm, not easy to tell which is better, somehow :) To my taste Klipsch. Highs are maybe tiny bit more natural, not sure. Listen 3:36 a bit and then 3:45, Audioengine sounds not right to me.

Probably too late for the OP but for everyone else, make sure to buy the r-51Pm not the r-51m, the last needs a separate amplifier.
What’s your opinion of both the Klipsch and the AudioEngine?
Hey, I think your A5+ is flipped. The powered speaker should be on your left.
S1000db, S2000 pro or S3000pro vs KEF ls50?
Better highs with Klipsch. Better bang for the buck, too.
Whats with the big dip from 120hz to 220hz?
Which ones would you recommend more for classical music and opera? I am not sure my headphones and the tracks are giving me a clear answer.

@@juanloaezaviadas500 i also listens to similar kind of music, vintage sound doesn't really fit me then again new speakers are very expensive as well as the new amplifiers. I discovered that amplifiers that are built after 1990 fits my bill. So i bought a sansui au-alpha 999 dg and a pair of hans g hennel summit typ250 from an old german electronic shop. Sounds almost good but not exactly great. So i bought a pair of polk audio monitor 4.5. pretty good but not the best so Im still in search for a new pair of speakers, that may sound right.
Yeah, klipsh
I made the right decision getting the Klipsch
They both lack bass but the K even more than A, and K even more sub midrange than A (500-3KH). Less fatigue with A with that set up, for sure. Methodology is very good & trustful in that test.
Klipschs sound more balanced and natural. Audioengines sound a bit shouty.

I have the klipsch r-15pm, the better looking yet similar sounding r-51pm. Has good mid range, and best in class highs, though this is due to their proprietary horn technology. While the horn is responsible for the great highs, and though I can't tell the difference, I would rather have a traditional tweeter for better response. I then demoed an audio engine a2+ and I couldn't believe how much bass that tiny thing was pumping out at that size. Bought, replaced the klipsch, and the smaller a2s has been my main speaker ever since. Undecided of what to do with the klipsch now. I know it sounds better by about 20% than the a2, but the a2 is 1/4th the size. When ur friends hear the klipsch, they be like "nice speakers". When they hear the a2s, they be like "damn, that tiny thing makes that big sound?". I like bass, so that's why a2 wins out. Their specs r roughly the same with lows going down to 65hz, but again, the a2s r a quarter of the size, and let's not forget more than half the price. I know what I said goes against convention, but living in small apartments with neighbors on both sides of the wall, I get more enjoyment from the Audioengine. Paired with the almost unnecessary Svs Sb-1000, and it's all I could ask for in a 2.1 system.

In Aus the klipsch are almost twice the price of the A5plus....
I really like A5+ ,its more beayutiful
Words?
Sounds to me the klipsch are missing the midrange? But that's there signature in most of there speakers Highs and lows are good but for me the midrange is where its at. That's why people are saying the A5+ want to sound bigger It's called midrange Also for those that dont know the A5+ also have a sub output as well Also the A5+ also has a screw thread at the bottom, not sure if the klipsch do or not? But very helpful if ya want to mount on stands
Both are great but when comparing the Klipsch just sounds fuller.
Klipsch hands down and with the money you'll save from em it can go towards a sub.
