Just bought the Nomad and I must say.... wow. I am impressed. I didn't expect that sort of quality, not for that price. Now the IEMs you get with the package are rubbish - if you had to judge the unit sound on that alone I would quite frankly be upset because its a poor representation of what the Nomad can do. I stuck my trusty Grado MS1's in, and wow... what a difference. I still cant believe the output quality. Best audio product I have bought in some years, certainly best value.

A year ago I had never heard of KLIM. But they really seem to care about the customer experience.

I have had the Nomad for a while now and really like it.Mine came with the earphones but agree with you-first thing to upgrade.

Didnt even know portable cd players are still around, thanks to yt recommended for your vid

I recommend the Koss KPH30i for any portable cd player. The 64 Ohm will stop any hiss going through the music. And the Koss KPH30i is sensitive enough, so it doesn't need a lot of amplification. Do the KLIM have gapless playback?

There is no delay between tracks, but it doesn't blend them together. Thanks for the headphone recommendation!

Have you used the KLIM Journey at all? Mine’s coming today and I was curious what you think about it compared to the other models.

After testing three KLIM CD players I believe them to be a company that knows and cares about the product category. I'd be shocked if it was anything less than awesome. Thanks for watching!
