...peak KZread culture. Reviewing a tool without bothering to use it once. It was not recommended based on potential injury a person's manicure and the age of the adjustment mechanism--vacuous.
I agree, the fit & finish need some work. They look like they might do in a pinch, though.

You are correct…. They can get the basic job done, but I wanted to point out the good & the bad. Maybe something Klein can improve on. I did expect them to be a bit more smooth for $30 too. Anyway, thanks my friend, and stay safe out there. B9USA Sr…. Rick.
I have the Klein 504-12b. They're awesome..those are nice for $12... 👍 They're very much like my Knipex Alligator pliers...although you didn't like them.... I like em for that price...
Back in year 2000 I was a maintenance supervisor and bought a few Klein tools, thier six in one screwdriver for one , it was O.K but when I used the nut driver it seemed the metal was soft and would strip out with regular use Professional use is a way to describe it however it was replaced twice until I started using my drill set instead so I buy Crescent tools and have had good results, also Husky Tools are good ! Klein makes a speed button version which you don't have so why compare the Knipex version that does to it? That's like comparing a Corvette to a Bugatti.
Unfortunately they sold out and have some garbage made by foreigners. Those pliers are made by a German company and licensed to Klein. I bought Chinese knife with Klein wrote on it and I was very disappointed. Klein lineman pliers made in America will be quality. Side note my apprentice tool kit had channel locks for that application and they last forever. Knipex works fast but not strong I’ve broke the teeth out of 4 different pairs. In my opinion made in Meadville, PA Channel Locks reign supreme.

The 12” Knipex Cobras are unkillable. The 10 inch ones I have broken though sadly
OUCH !
Also just to mention that something can be made in another country and assembly in Germany, to make a claim of Made in Germany, it's sneaky!
i still like Klein, the failing grade is fair however. poorly designed but well made tool..
