I just bought the 82-10. I am a novice by the way, and purchased because of the discount. Put them on as recommended but hurt like the dickons on the inside of my leg. Thinking about adding spongy foam on the inside brace to keep from agitating. Any suggestions?

@@orlandoherreraoutdoorstexa7353 I put folded up towels and put them in between leather pads before I got the buckingham aluminum foam pads. the buckingham pads are the best. but the towels will work until you get the aluminum pads.

I bought the tree spikes and found them uncomfortable and impossible to use...stuck into a spruce tree like a nail every foot and then hard to get out. Plus, they stick out so far my legs swivel around...useless. I soon changed them to pole spikes. Thick bark is really only at the bottom of the tree anyway.
