Best industry practices; gaffs only for removals, no gaffs for pruning jobs, and a primary climbing line that will provide the climber with a mode of descent and allows for safe traversing through the crown of the tree. Knowing the tree species is also crucial, this will dictate where your primary anchor point will be set. Climb safe.

Try translating quite literally anything from English into Spanish and you will quickly realize that it takes anywhere from 1.5x to 3x (or more) verbiage to say the same English words in Spanish. Spanish is a very DENSE language and so, although it might seem as though they are saying more in the Spanish version, it's probably exactly the same. Just some perspective for you.

The easy part is walking out what I wanna see is something to make it easier for you on the walk back where your on a flat long limb walk back to the tree I have trouble keeping my balance when theres nothing to hold onto no stubs or limbs and your having to lanyard in to make another cut. And with srt it's even more complicated bcs you have to stand up to tighten your climb line up.
@BartlettArboristSupply3 күн бұрын
We can work on a video like that. Walking back from a long limb walk can prove to be difficult, however never impossible; slow will be key. Sometimes dropping relatively parallel with the limb and lanyard will be the go-to, getting comfortable will then be the issue; you could also incorporate webbing slings in order to create foot holds. This is easier said than done. Finding a redirect is always preferable and if there is none, creating a mechanical advantage system (for SRS) makes the walk back somewhat easier.

While we enjoy your enthusiasm, you may be missing the point of this video; an instructional/tutorial when climbing only with the basics, aimed for those looking to begin their illustrious career in the world of Arboriculture. As for residential vs. utility, both present their own challenges that can be met with accomplishments, whether removing hang over 3-phase or removing a gnarly tree that spreads over multiple homes. The name of the game is going home safely each day! Climb safe.
