Originally I didn't think we were in a simulation because of suffering and what ethical entity would run a simulation where any consciousness, and I know that I'm at least one of them, has to endure suffering. Since I'm enduring suffering, in fact a significant amount of mental anguish that is only become increasingly worse year after year and now even month after month and week after week, in addition to your typical physical issues of being human, then how could this be a simulation? But I'm becoming more and more convinced that whoever or whatever is running the simulation is not at all concerned about a conscious feeling simulant experiencing suffering. In fact that could be part of the whole point.

My first assignment as an aeronautical technician for the U.S. Navy began at Moffett Field. The barracks is shown to the right of the Ames Research Center. Why is it so hard to believe this new theory? Today we still have NO idea what space / distance is, we DON’T understand time and as for Einstein’s space-time continuum: it helps us mathematically think about reality - it IS NOT reality. We have to look further towards philosophers who have tried to answer these questions for 1000’s years. They all come down to a similar conclusion / question: who is observing this reality? Who are we? Quantum Field Theory already shows that there is no “this” and “that” and no “i” and “you” (so do Buddhists by the way). Without that answer we have no chance to understand the observed… a shared consciousness sounds to be the missing link!

I don't understand how you can say relativity isn't reality. It's a model, sure, but it is allowing you to use GPS and observable from gravitational lensing. You can't say it's not reality if your new model is incapable of explaining the same phenomena it accurately describes.

Since i started VR gaming i started questioning reality ? And what i've experienced is that reality is fake and real at the same time and it is just a shadow of supreme reality where we have a balance between yin and yang or matter or antimatter and it is true and false at the same time it just depends on the perspective from where we are observing it and we can experience and we can observe we can scientifically explain it through laws of nature but the things which are beyond our perspective like the whole universe we can only estimate it with tools like data science and Ai may be we can play around in real world and may be universe is just a Quantum computer running bunch of Ai algorithms and simulating nature and what ever we able to observe becomes reality so it might be digital computers are missing the third state which is being fake and real at the same time or 01 at the same time and if we have quantum GPU can we render real nature with laws of physics which turns out of to be fake and real or yin and yang or 0 and 1 at the same time ? Are we stuck in the loop of nothingness ?

@@jnemo2605 Look for a book that was written in the middle east and now the Westerners preferred religion. It's a story about a guy supposedly born in the Palestine region that never existed and his name is Jebus.

Currently the world is connected through digital internet and we have different timezones on the planet but it feels like one if we are connected or entangled with each other 😜 if we can experiment with quantum internet connecting two different planets and if we can play with time and quantum data and differences in days we might find out an algorithm which can help us to time travel 😂 if we have all the mathematical equations then we don't need algorithms to find out the mathematical models by themselves to calculate the unknown and unseen if we can't calculate what we can't observe like the universe we can better estimate it using algorithms and data and if the universe is uncertain can we compute it using the quantum data we can gather about the universe ?

Well, you may think about it this way: If this experience (your life) can be simulated, what are the other possibilities? If something is capable of immersing one into an experience this convincing, what else can be experienced? A rough analogy would be the different games you can play using a game console. I welcome any question you may have on this topic.

To BallinKermit ...Interesting. I want to play on the game u have currently in your console....or maybe better Saud, I'm interested in where u might be going in this. He never stated in his last overview on the supports of simulation only one thing....we start doubling in space in this linear way...how are we going to also eat and drink water? Yes earth is limited in resources but without an endlessly renewable form of water and nutrition, we have still limited growth capacity... but in 45 minutes of his presentation it's understandable he might have missed fleshing out this possibly minor problem to solve but still vital need to survive at all. Still that's off topic. What else can be simulated, u ask....I guess it depends on how much we can interact with it in a meaningful or significant way...? We can simulate emotions to a degree but not be sincere then...idk...u sound like u might be able to focus my questions more accurately at least and I'd like to know your viewpoint and reasoning. I guess true of everyone for me...but there are both helpful and supportable and the opposite versions of the 2 things I'm curious about in people. Plus mixes of all in-between versions.. I feel u might have the first type to give so I'm truly very interested on this. Please could u elucidate me on more specifics? I'm happy to further answer questions as long as I know the full parameters of them if u believe that's better than just flat out giving me the run-down...its a good way to encourage self directed musing and allow for personal viewpoints to foster new understanding for possibly both people. Frankly, the main thing that bothers me about most of the "techno wizardry" answers to solving alot of the problems we face is that it completely ignores the system which has led us here. That being capitalism. The reason things have been stable for the people in that room is that, most likely, they all live/grew up in the imperial core of capital i.e. the U.S. It's not that our "mythos" makes us see nature as an enemy, it's that under capitalism literally everything is a commodity and is treated as such.
