The only counter to shima but its rare to br seen I am a french dd user and know its very powerful but the range torp nerf hurt way too much maybe 7km is enough

Believe i had all these in my team and they still got shima'ed only kleber can do it becuz of 4.6 conceal + Quad torping + Reloader so when shima u turn and smoke to escape ur speed is above 60 kts now gimme one dd who can be this fast so shima cant run from kleber but can run from everything else

Shima is not a well balanced ship and gets outshot by any other decent dd player from tier 7,8 and Legend...Mogador, Delny, Sumner, Loyang, Friesland Daring Khabarovsk, Hayate(same guns but 50% reload time vs Shima plus more hp😊 you kidding? Besides having the most powerful Torpedos in the world even the Japanese back then realized that this ship sucks ass and stopped building it after only 8 Shimakaze have been produced in the entire history of Japanese naval services

Irl Shimakaze didn't kill a damn thing but its own men by sailing out in that boat thinking they could guard/escort anybody to anywhere with those American carriers all over the damn scene...the first real fight it ever got into it couldn't take part in because of overloading with too many passengers from another sunken destroyer and when this ship had its first contact with enemy weaponry, it burned and drifted for hours in the open water before it finally exploded with all the man been buried with it...probably a decade too late for this ship to enter world war in the final phase

Guboat build is great with this ship. Get the range out past 13k and in combination with that speed no one can hit you. Sort of like Kaba but with better AP and more manoeuvrability

@@pgrapidz well when mogador comes as tier 8 which is basically a mini kleber then I think that will be reason to finish the French DD line

Great video :), will we be getting any videos on the Russian carriers at any point? I feel like the tier 5 is really good however the tier 7 is quite under powered due to the plane health, keep up with the good work though:)

The plane health at Tier 7 is only a problem if you're reckless with your planes. I've literally won matches with the Pobeda with 130K-150K damage, ending with either torp or HE bombers still having 10-12 on deck ready to go out.

@@jome2284 I mean I do have them kinds of games every now and then but even still attacking any American battleships or cruisers melts squads and is extremely unforgiving compared to other carriers like parseval

@@alecmurray8339 I mean I do prefer playing destroyers or battleships but with the matchmaking and teammates I get at tier 7 throwing away their ships straight away it’s just more fun to play a carrier sometimes

They’re on the list of ships to do, both are super strong CVs tho Serov might even be a tad too strong, my pobeda is still stock but i’d wager the serov is stronger tier for tier. Will find out soon enough

If you have a legendary 3 on that commander, please use stand or fall, the reload gets even better

i use du Fournet and i have 2 Reload booster and still 5.4km Concealment.... i love it.

It feels so weird seing Legends Kleber play so differently to PC Kleber. On PC you just either do ambush runs on other DDs and use the Reload booster to burst down the enemy and leave, or use AFT (+20% range on main guns) and sit at like 15km and pew pew at everything and burn it. Of course you can run builds which can do both, but I prefer fully going into the ambush, because if I wanted to spam HE at range, I would go for my Khaba. Still, very well played from you anyways. Good job on that sucessful match

This sort of stuff is why I wish like hell PC had the captain system Legends does. You simply can't do cool builds like this on PC, and it kind of sucks.

One of the funniest ships, it'll never be buffed because of skill cap, good players will be too strong with 8km torps, i don't mind it personaly Epic game btw

i think its such crap when a smaller ship can get so casually close to a bigger ship knowing it wont take serious damage. Hate that a destroyer can just dock itself next to a battleship and just sun bathe while launching torpes....and ordering a side of fries.

If that's all they're doing they're losing more games than they're winning. DD's well played have to take a lot of risks, contest caps with no armor when everyone will shoot them as soon as spotted, and counter other DD's.

@@Skiiiiiifreeeeeee risk taking isnt what i was talking about. You said it yourself...No armour. dd players know they can get close to a battleship because of lack of realistic engagement. Call it R.N.G if you want but its wrong to be able to sit that close and not get sunk. Wouldnt happen in real life...jus sayin

@@timorre3971 No one's arguing real life. The game isn't remotely close to real life. Nothing then or now could get within 20 km of a battleship and expect to live. If we're talking real life than a carrier would destroy everything without ever getting within 200 km. The game is made to be a balance of different playstyles. I enjoy the game in all classes. Started as a BB main during the Tirpitz campaign, and now play everything, probably mostly cruisers but relatively equal amongst all classes. In the context of the game, I personally think good DD play is much harder than good BB play, and no I'm not talking about torping BB's...talking about all the other tasks aforementioned. I think there's a lot of ships that are OP, but I don't think any given class is. It's all about winrate...mine is 61%, and looking at ships, my highest individual winrates are Fletcher, Vladivostok, Yamato at about 75% apiece...that's 2 BB's, 1 DD. A lot of ships amongst all classes in the 60-70% range, and my lowest winrates are typically IJN torpedo boats, which are the most hated amongst the BB player base. Nuking battleships does not win games. Playing objectives does.

@@Skiiiiiifreeeeeee the game uses calculatons based in real life..BASED not real. armour penetrations and the explosives it takes to defeat it. My point is that the game fails every once in a while at the most obvious.

Kleber is still an absolute beast despite the nerf. The only ones complaining that it's a weak ship now are probably those with below 60% winrate.
