The problem is that KS offers us large-scale works and these bring certain expectations as regards structure and development. Classical composers invented structures based on key relationships, the music moving from a home key to a related key, exploiting the major/minor tension and so on. Most popular music composers write short songs and when they attempt something "symphonic", their lack of training in musical structures lets them down - everything meanders or simply stays static. Possible exceptions to the rule are Mike Oldfield on early albums like Ommadawn, Yes on Close to the Edge (but not much else) and Tangerine Dream when guided by J Schmoelling, who has some classical training. I suspect some writers of shorter songs also have these skills e.g. Lennon and McCartney, Beach Boys, Prefab Sprout. There will be others but I don't think KS is one of them. 22 minutes into this album (I gave up after that) he is still using the same very restricted chord sequence as at the opening. (Very similar to chords I remember from Dig It by KS, so not even new😀).The only variety lies in the instrumentation. So it sounds great for five minutes or so but cannot develop. Repetition substitutes poorly for development. JSB, WAM, LvB and their inheritors would never have tried on such a scam

mainstream is satanic, they have to push their agenda. musik like this opens your mind. that is not what the deep state whants for us. they need slaves, not thinking people. even if a good melody gets in the charts, the text is most of the time ether stupid or demonic. it is never to late to dicover new stuff. just be happy that you found it at all. i know listen to musik like this since i was a teen, but that guy i also fund just now.

Great rendition of this classic! Gershwin can be proud of you. Thank you.
wonderful ... for listen in the deep night, below lighting night of the little lamp... Everywhere around me is silence and gray walls. Just one window behind me, from there i see darkness in street. Nobody, only silence and this song.

Probably some of the nicest music here in our Galaxy
The remarkable ability to make a song longer than 1 hour irresistibly fascinating, even though it may seem "repetitive"!

I must admit I missed his music in past but very pleased to have caught up, without You Tube I most likely would have missed him completely. My regret is I understand he has retired from playing live, such a shame would have loved to see him.

❤wow. Pięknie się słucha. ❤❤❤ super muza .
Danke Klaus Schulze
Man this is beautiful stuff moves every nerve an sinew in my body
This is astonishing piece of Art, takes me to another dimension :)) Thank You Mister Schulze
Einfach die Augen schließen und genießen 🤗👍
Recorded in Hambühren, Germany - 2001-2002 Composer: Klaus Schulze Performers: Klaus Schulze, Thomas Kagermann (violin, flute, vocals), Thomas Becker (oboe, english horn), Mickes (guitar)
If I get out of the noise of the world I'm going to escape here. I like the consistency of classical instruments and electronic effects. I think this is the best job of the master.

So easy to get lost in 🌌🌠
Wonderfully evocative and mesmerizing.
Despite being released in 2008, it feels extremely 90's, or possibly the mid/late 80's. It's the squelchy sax and the steamy cymbals.
one of my favourite albums from Herr KS.
I,m Home. Im heartened to listen again to something wonderfully precious as this. I had thought i,d Hear Minaretts for a long or shorter time..
Stunning! Thanks..
I love Klaus and this even invokes shades of Soft Machine !
I quite like this in a strange sort of way. It matches the mood I am in at the moment. I have read a lot of the comments and my goodness there is an awful lot of bollocks being spoken about this man. Even though I quite like it I can't imagine listening to it in preference to all else. There's reams of this sort of stuff out there. So much to hear, so little time to do it in.
*träumt*... wie wunderschön es doch wär, wenn Menschen "nur" Solches schaffen würden, verbunden in Liebe zueinander. so schön & miteinander fließend wie diese Scheibe....
absolutely wonderful
Absolutely fantastic, like all music from Schulze. I wonder if he incorporated a real guitar, like the one playing around the 30th. minute, or if he does that himself with his keyboards. Either way, just fantastic.
Excellent. I Love it.
This is magical, sensational music...am I dreaming it? :))

Hey, Johnny G: first, hope you'll be around for another decade at least. You should, here on YT, listen to Klaus Schulze's 'The Cello'. It is definitely one of my favourites.
