Except it's the same (technically) elemental creature reborn as a smaller version of herself Fun fact: all archons are transformed as humans just because they wanted to, but they're all elemental spirits that can morph into anything, example, Venti in his story quest he became a different person and originally he was a small cute guy floating, Zhongli has told he got many names and forms like his human form right now, dragon form, female version... (actually a canon thing)

@@kyllernotkiller true, but there's already only a handful of wholesome familial relationships in genshin so imma be really self-indulgent and take the idea that Nahida is like Rukkhadevata's child instead of just another clone/reincarnation of herself, regardless of canon. I mean, back then, people also refused to believe that Scara was also technically Ei's "child" and not just some clone/puppet like the Raiden Shogun until the game had Scara literally refer to Ei as his creator and mother. But mother-child relationship or no, their relationship is nonetheless still both so heartwarming and heartwrenching considering no one but the Traveler remembers Rukkha, and that Nahida had spoken to the one figure she aspired to become only once before she disappeared forever. The idea that they could also be interpreted as mother and child adds more to the tragedy and is honestly far more interesting than just Nahida being another reincarnation of Rukkha. Plus, in a fandom where it's the norm for 90% of its people to ship everyone with everything, I'll gladly welcome characters having platonic/familial relationships with everyone and everything instead.

The best part is that this is a perfect Moment where the Traveller and player experience the exact same thing. Seeing Nahida so happy but Oblivious to what she forgot. How we are the only one who knows what she lost.

If you aren’t crying after watching that it means one of 2 things: 1) you didn’t finish Sumeru’s archon quest or 2) you are a heartless monster
