I was thinking Weave was being maternal the other day, the chomps look like her gauging how heavy Howie would be to carry, if needed, the flea scratching is another social/maternal thing, she mothers them all in her coyote manner! You just have something that animals really respond to and they seem to trust you quicker than I have ever seen before.

This is the coolest of the cool. It’s cool to see different species hanging out together. The house is cool and the location of it is cool. This actually gives me new respect for Illinois.

Hilarious as to how filthy Duck is! One of my horses, when I lived in Kansas, had the nastiest spot to roll…he was a champagne palamino so the black stinky mud was particularly, obvious! Love to see how everyone is getting along! The confidence Howie has now is great I had a fab swamp kitty when I lived in North Vancouver (British Columbia); miss my SK!

I lost mine too. Day before father's day. 18 yrs old. Life definitely different. The only thing that saved my mental is a cat showed up about 1 yr or so before my Diesel passed. Never owned a cat in my life.

Don't under estimate Johnny, he probably doesn't weigh so much less than weave as it may seem, and racoons are pretty smart and tough themselves!
